I like to think Post Wasteland Mavis decided to do some other things than work all the time. She would absolutely adore the kiddos and would love babysitting, and would probably try out a bunch of extreme sports/thrills in her off time (she got use to the adrenaline rush and kinda misses it.)
Most of her time before the Wasteland was spend running errands and making deliveries
What she lacks in grace, she makes up for in endurance/resilience
If she has magic, she is not aware of it
Comically clumsy
Workaholic in denial
Has a love-hate relationship with puns
Kinda protective of her personal property
I have come to the realisation I am not the best at deciding relationships, but I hope this mess gets the idea across-
She is very much under the impression that her relationship with the rest of the toons is primarily professional. She does consider some toons more like friends, and cares for all of the toons dearly, but she is also hyperaware that she "is not all that interesting to talk to" and struggles to go further than the usual pleasantries with most.
Being stuck in the Wasteland has really forced her out of her comfort zone, and she has gotten better at surviving with the unexpected (with the help of her new [blot] companions).
I tried to stay true to the original art style, hope it can through ^^
Anywho, I'm done for now. Might talk about boosting and her new lil friends at a later date.
Don't forget to check out the blog if you haven't!
Blitz - "Appears to be a (relatively) newly formed chaser. Despite the aggressive behavior he exhibits towards most lifeforms, Blitz is usually in the company of at least one of the others. Very competitive."
Klunk - "A friendly scrap golem that travels about a small area of the wasteland. Acts like a caretaker towards 'Blitz' and 'Pim' (found the two as lil blots). Can be weary of unfamiliar toons, and likes collecting things. Protective."
Pim - "A quiet little blot. Extremely curious, but doesn't have a very strong sense of danger. Likes to collect things like Klunk, but will hold on to something until she finds something better. Low threat (?)"
Ah yes, little sitcom family/j
If I were to ever adapt Mavis to this au, pretty sure these buggers are her best shot at survival early game. I like them.
(Do note I don't too much in terms of chaser behavior, but I am choosing to go nurture over nature for this.)
