how to whitsun for idiots (like me)

step 1: obtain egg

step 2: enlighten or invigorate your egg. This is what makes the egg Viable. The type of egg and the choice you made between Enlightened or Invigorated determines the Species that will hatch from it.

step 3: augment your egg. You can only have one of each Augment, and only certain types of augments can be applied to types of eggs. Two augments can be found around London for your egg type. Enlightened/Invigorated does change what types of augments you can do on your egg in addition to its type. So for example, you need Sly and Mirror-Coat augmentations if your Pelagic Egg is Enlightened, but you need Grotesque and Theological augments if your Pelagic Egg is Invigorated. If you want to get the Coolest most Awesome critters, you need an illegal augmentation device which lets you augment your egg for a third time.

Step 4: hatch your egg. How many times you Augmented your egg determines how "Strong" your hatched critter is. but this is the easiest step. Just stick em in the nest for a day. sit on that thang. it'll hatch after 23 hours.

Optionally you can research eggs or break them for items or send them to your friends but some of those cost ha'ppennies/fate.
