More variations of Sorrow Spiders.
Little fungus creatures my beloved.
More line art for the Hunter’s Journal I did in February (I think?). Long way to go before anything gets colors.
utterly delighted to learn that there is a fallen london tag
this is my fallen london character, his name is Salem Thimble and he is red because he is in danger
bugs!
My second submission to @neathyfashioncoalition, with Salem Greene and Io Shaw.
I’ve already done some sketches of Salem using their corset for binding. Obviously I was going to take this perfect excuse to make a more finished piece involving that. And I wanted to finally try drawing Io in color.
my player character and her beloved sorrow-spider for an upcoming fallen london rat oneshot by @herearedragons!!!
miss filly and her best friend false-star <3
I've been looking forward to getting a Big Eel to ride since last year's whitsun introduced transport-beasts, but I was truly unprepared for the majesty of THE INFINITE EEL SOURCE
A witch for week 2 of Funguary. Tried doing something without linework.
I've recently come to conclusion that fallen london actually will probably work better as a ttrpg setting then it ever did as a game
namely I think people have done some really awesome stuff and concepts and fun creations with the base concepts of the lore and the background setting, but with their own stories, and maybe fallen london just works better as a backdrop for your own tales than anything else
Was looking through some adorkastock packs and thought these poses suited these two, so I made a quick draw!
Y'all wanna see some medieval mobility aides in manuscripts?
There are clues in the margins of medieval manuscripts to suggest that disabled people in the past made long pilgrimages, and were helped on
A piece for week one of Funguary, featuring Cordyceps, one of my favorite mushrooms.
I don’t think I can do a finished piece for the other three prompts, but as it’s the last run and I’ve always really wanted to participate, I wanted to make this one something I was proud of.
Uncensored version under the cut:
Silas became a Silverer and I wanted to draw something to commemorate it!
Do you think people in the neath get embaressed over 'lame' deaths. Like does someone choke on a cracker and come back and everyone is like hey you were gone for a bit what happened. Do you think its hard to admit.
Oh now I’m thinking about how the revivals work in the neath again. We wake up in our homes which makes sense for a game. But why? Does your body disappear and when you come back just reappear back in your home? If so, is it the neath that knows what the character calls home? Is it the subconscious? And what if someone has no home? Would they appear somewhere they consider home enough?
Or do other people move the bodies? Is it out of kindness or are people employed to collect them and, in really bad cases, determine if revival is likely? If there are people bringing the corpses home, the hope of keeping embarrassing deaths secret is flying right out the window.
oh see, in my mind, thats just entierly a vague place in the lore where game mechanics don't equal lore. The lodging aspect actually leads to a plot hole in one of the ambitions, where a threat is clearly meant to rely on the fact that your body would stay where it is when you die, but of course you go back to your lodgings.
I do like the idea of people carrying others bodies back to their home quite a lot though, maybe its just a common courtsey. especially for the PC with a lot of connections. probably depends on locations too, if a fellow bohemian would carry you home, or a couple helpful urchins, or even society people demanding the streets be clearer. lots of ways to play with it!
My fluffy fluffy little bee🥺... Alexis Fairfax (Parabola Reflection) you are a fuzzy little bee! 🐝👿
