The Smith Family Album
Started by Jemima Smith in 1975, the Smith family album documents a number of important milestones as well as more trivial moments from the family’s daily life, ranging from Jemima and Marcus’ wedding to Zacharias’ first time on a broom. Lovingly created and filled out by Jemima, the photo album includes muggle photographs as well as magical ones in order to represent both the wizarding and the muggle presence in the family’s history.
Though the pages remained rather empty for a while after Zacharias graduated and moved out, that quickly changed after his son’s birth. Jemima made sure to document every moment of little Aaron’s childhood and later teenage years, and continued doing so up until her death in 2018.
Currently, the album is in Zacharias’ possession at the insistence of his father. However, despite Marcus’ hints that he should add some photographs himself, at the moment he has no intention of doing so.
