I absolutely love that it's from the dad's point of view, something that a lot of people in color guard often forget to recognize about others who aren't in color guard. It's such a true-to-life experience... This poor guy is JUST like my dad, dedicated to his daughter, and even now that I've been aged out of color guard for almost 10 years my dad still builds props for the groups I teach, and comes to help at competitions when we need him to. For the last six years he even drove one of our guard vans full of teenagers for me!! I know it's a bit early for this but #HappyFathersDay to the best type of dad out there, the #guarddad! ❤️❤️❤️ *********************** P.S. I'm a #HHonors member and stayed at a Hampton in Ohio just last week on my way home from a long trip. It was the best choice because we were exhausted and I knew for a fact that the beds would be comfortable, the shower would be warm and clean, and we would get free hot breakfast in the morning.
