CIRCL MOBILITY I got up early this morning to preview the new mobility class created by @zumba via livestream. ➡️If you’ve been following me for a while (first of all, THANK YOU!) then you know that I have an extremely “on-again-off-again” relationship with yoga. 🧘🏼♀️ I really love it and I know how good it is for my body, but it’s SO difficult to add in something that’s “just for me” in my crazy schedule. Especially now that I’m a 👩🏼🍼mom! 🦘So when I tell you I JUMPED at the opportunity to try this new class, know that it was WITH GUSTO. I put it on my 📆calendar like a month ago, reminded my husband about it pretty much every week so he could watch the baby, and got up early to make sure I wouldn’t be late! 🙆🏼♀️Here’s the cinch: it’s like yoga in that it moves you through a variety of ranges of motion to different poses, and incorporates breath work. However, it’s WAY more accessible for someone like me! In fact, it’s the closest thing I’ve ever done to the movement training programs that we did when I marched in 🏳️ DCI, which I’ve done my best to recreate for my guard students for decades. In other words, this is EXACTLY what I have been 👀 looking for. 🙏🏻Thank you so much @chopsueylee for putting this on. I’m SO excited for the certification training coming up in a few months, I’ll be the first to sign up! This is always the hardest part of the week for me. I don’t really have the words to express the absolute joy and appreciation in my life over being a part of the chaperone team at @macysgreatamericanmarchingband year after year.
