“When I try to remember the best moments with Rammstein, strangely enough the first things that occur to me are small episodes that have nothing to do with music…Another time, in Spain, first thing in the morning—after waking up in the bus outside the venue—we drove straight to the beach to go surfing. That is, the others wanted to surf, and I used the time to walk up and down the rocky coast. When I came back after a few hours, exhausted, they were all sitting outside a little café and drinking coffee. I sat down with them, and every now and then one of us would get up and get something else to eat or drink.
