Flakestorm 🍃 Alternate rank au EVERYBODY HOLD UP WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THE CONCEPT OF FLAKESTORM BECOMING WILDSPIRIT’S APPRENTICE IMMEDIATELY. Like Flakestorm helping him out for a few moons just because they’re pals, but eventually realizing after the dogs in Creekclan, that he’s never going to be able to fight as well as his peers, and he just isn’t good at hunting either. But he can remember herbs or whatever, and eventually he realizes that even if he can’t fight he can still help Creekclan and their cats, and maybe even if he can’t stop cats from getting hurt, he can help them even if he couldn’t help Zinnia. I think he’d ask to just be Flake again, at least for a while; then maybe someday he’d get a new name, one that he felt as if he actually deserves.

Hopepaw ☀️ Ideal friendships Hopepaw needs all of the friends in existence. She needs the confidence boost smh. I would love her to talk to Rumblepaw some more; I think they’re like… externally such polar opposites they would get along well, and they grew up together. I’d also really love for Hopepaw to make some friendships across the border; I think it might even be easier for her in a way, because if a cat lives in another camp, if she slips up and says the wrong thing she can get away from it much easier. Her parents will always be her best friends tho.

Snake Oil 🌲 Who I ship them with Horizonwalker and Snake Oil beloveds :anguish: They need to meet at the border and talk, it’s essential to my mental health. I think about them a lot in their youth, and idk if I can drop a lot about the past here because it isn’t like Public yet, but I think Horizonwalker was the first cat that Snake Oil ever really trusted with… well, anything, and they were one of the first cats that Snake Oil received genuine kindness from that didn’t turn on him. I also think that Snake Oil and Crag are funny but not even like in a romantic way I just like watching them cause problems on purpose.

Lotuspaw 🍁 Favorite rp / moment I really love all of the moments where Lotuspaw slips up for a second and it’s like oh yeah! He’s a kid. He put a lot of pressure on himself to grow up too quickly, so the moments where he’s all starry eyed and like “omg what!! that's so cool i hope i get to be just like you when i grow up” are very special to me. Also when him and Frostbite spoke at the gathering and he immediately went ah! So you are my friend and rolemodel now!

This weeks roleplay definitely might make it up into this category, tho >:3c Uh. As soon as I start it. FUCK I GOTTA START IT. I ALSO GOTTA REPLY TO MR.DUSTY I’M SORRY DUSTY I DIDN”T F

Monkeyhoot 🌸 Favorite relationship dynamics I love love love that Monkeyhoot gets to be like a father/uncle to so many cats. That isn’t a role that I play a lot in roleplays, so it’s a new thing for me and I really enjoy getting to write it! In real life I act with my family a lot how he acts with his, so getting to write that down and express it in roleplay is really fun; plus it’s fun to joke around and mess w cats :3c He loves Pete so much it’s unreal. There’s also a lot of unrequited love going on with him but um that’s fine <3

Dustymeadow

Ooghghgggg imagine if Dustymeadow had left to join Tideclan instead of going to become a kittypet how fucked up would that be. Like he has a mate there, and he goes to live with them for so many moons, and it’s fine (I guess smh) until Stormclan is like hey the great storm is coming btw. And immediately Dustymeadow is like um :( then Tarponstar starts pushing the border and ignoring all of Stormclan’s warnings, and so many cats die thanks to it (Including his mate), and now Dustymeadow has to stand at odds with his own former clan, family, and friends and has to figure out if it was really worth it to come to Tideclan and if he can ever go back to his old home. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Jasmine

✨Initial thoughts / opinions

Nobody outside of Creekclan can see it cuz. Y’know. But anyway, when I first started writing Jasmine I really wasn’t sure what I was doing with them? I had a concept of what I wanted out of them, but I wasn’t entirely sure how to write it because it was so far outside of what I usually write. A lot of my characters are usually very outwardly emotional and talkative, and Jasmine was my attempt to try and break that sort of pitfall, but in turn I struggled with it a lot SHFOSUDO

I didn’t really get a hold on them until the roleplay I did with them & Ember, where it finally clicked and I was like OH. Yes. This is them. I’m happy with how they are now, and they’re one of my favorites to write :3c I hope everybody sees more of them soon!!(!!!!!)

Storkclaw

🍁 Favorite rp / moment

I really enjoyed when he first reunited with Pebbletoes! Their interactions are fun even if I get distracted from writing really quick (sob). Everytime I write him with her I feel like I get to show more of who Storkclaw really is, just because he kind of has a front up whenever anybody else is around. She kinda takes some of the weight off of his shoulders to have to try and be the positive one in every situation, even if he feels guilt for leaving and that isn’t gonna go away anytime soon. Pebbletoes I love you :3c

Is Briarclan Storkclaw an au?? I guess it would be, because it would be the result of like… different events taking place. I thought about trying to do a Canyon!Stork au, but his family is rooted in Briarclan firmly and he hated Canyonclan up until recently for the death of his mother & all of the grief they caused not only her but also his clanmates so he wouldn’t have joined them instead. Anyway.

If Storkclaw had stayed in Briarclan, I think he would be a lot less vocal than he is today. When he left for a bit, he had the opportunity to really reflect on what he had and how important clan life was to him. If he never left, I think he’d have been crushed again and again by what was happening no matter how hard he tried to stay positive about it, especially with his mother’s passing. It’d be a different character arc for sure!

Flakestorm

☘️ Relationship dynamics with the most potential

Ok, first, I think it’s very funny that Flakestorm keeps seeing mean nb cats and saying oh? Oh? You are my best friend? My best friend in the world? :) He’s done it like three times now. It’s very funny to me because he’s Like That.

I’d really like to work some more with Flakestorm and Wildspirit; Flakestorm really looks up to Wildspirit (well, to be fair, there are very few cats he doesn’t look up to. Your cat could stomp on a kitten and Flakestorm would look up to them for their strength or something there’s something wrong with him fr). Wildspirit taking Flakestorm under his wing a bit has helped Flake a lot with coming out of his shell, and being willing to joke around and talk with his clanmates a little bit less like they’re a pack of feral dogs and more like they’re other cats that only might bite him a little bit.

I’d also really love for Flakestorm to make some more cross-border friends, especially in Canyonclan! He’s still a little bit intimidated by them, and I want him to have the opportunity to realize that they’re all cats just the same. To be fair, he’s also obsessed with the whole flower thing Briarclan has going on and I would love for him to get to talk about that also at some point. You guys better give Flakestorm some weaving sessions I s2g.
