Question for the jayvik (tk) nation, as someone who has not watched the show:

Not only is almost every tk-related fic and piece of art consistent in how the two characters' ticklishness is portrayed (which is not entirely uncommon, fans widely agreeing on a headcanon), BUT I've also recently seen a few people mention that Viktor is canonically ticklish.

What, pray tell, are people referring to? Would someone mind pointing me in the right direction for such information? 👀👀👀

Ooooh Deltarune!

Now, I'm not sure how much of a hot take this is, but to me it seems like Deltarune's take on characters we met in Undertale is like a bad fandom take?

I'm having a bit of a hard time explaining it :/

Lots of things are directly opposite to what we knew from Undertale, characters who knew each other well are now strangers, they sometimes have opposite opinions (mew mew 2, Alphys no!!), But their place in the world is oddly familiar? Undyne as a cop, Alphys and Toriel as teachers etc. And it seems as if they all kinda....lack passion for any of that? Like the Shapes of them are put into the world, but their soul is missing.

It's just an impression I get, like they're pawns set in motion to play their part and little else. It's still them under the surface! But not quite... They are tweaked and programmed to reach some bigger end goal.

And it feels like we are also just pawns in a game someone else is playing, so our reactions can be observed and measured, so it's doubly interesting that Kris seems to go off the rails at the end there.

I can't wait to see where it goes 👀

A Question for my Fellow Artists (sfw tk community)

Is there a "beta" system for artists???

I've been drawing for a while now, but I'm still not too familiar with many full-body, dynamic poses in varying perspectives (let alone multiple characters interacting with each other). When I'm making *normal* art (lol) there are a couple irl people I can go to to help critique what I'm working on, point out what's wrong and how it can be fixed, etc. But when it comes to the drawings I do here, I am FAR too embarrassed to ask anyone I know for a second opinion (this is why getting drawings out take so long ^^').

For example, it might look something like this:

"Something about ______ feels off and I can't figure out why. Is there something I can do to make it a little better?"

"Is there a way I could make this character's expression more ______?"

"Everything here is fine except for the ________... no matter what I try I can't seem to get the ___________ right."

"How would I foreshorten this _______??"

"Got any references for _________?"

So, let me ask again:

Do people around here (sfw tk community) help each other with proportions, perspectives, etc, the same way a writer might have their fic beta-read?

Yes, this type of system exists for artists (do tell 👀)

Yes, this type of thing happens, but usually only between artist friends/mutuals

No, but I'd be interested in something like that!

No, but I wouldn't mind if someone came to me personally asking for help

This doesn't apply to me—I'm not interested in giving or receiving help with art

On the AUs you say? Let me go with the underfell Jerry for this.

Jerry is hard to kill even in undertale. It is even more of a tank in the fell universe, and between its high defense and its magic being suited for supporting teammates' attacks, Jerry is quite a popular monster to have on your side in a fight. Monsters pay it quite a nice sum of G for its work, so not only is uf!Jerry sloppy, rude and annoying, it now also has a lot of money.

The money and the power make it quite a desirable protector in a world of kill or be killed, and many monsters dated it for that, but nobody is desparate enough or manages to stand it long enough to marry it.
