-Flame Flame-
It’s not unusual for the flame flame fruit to show up multiple times in the same generation; its users tends to burn bright and quick, starting as a spark and ending as an ember.
Made for greatness, each and every one, but not made to last.
LOOK AT THESE
I wanna believe oh so badly when Ace got his devil fruit he felt so bad for how much shit he was giving Luffy about his. Like Luffy struggled to bathe by himself without drowning in that damn barrel. The way he would somehow start drowning in knee deep water. As kids it looked like Luffy was just weak. But the first bath he had after eating the flame-flame fruit was an EXPERIENCE
what's your favorite devil fruit, and *who's* your favorite op antagonist for the ask meme!!
This reply is gonna be a long one! 😅 Apologies in advance for rambling
Favorite Fruit:
My favorite fruit is either Flame-Flame Fruit or Calm-Calm Fruit. Which I guess doesn't come as much of a surprise.
For whatever reason, I've always been drawn to characters with fire powers or connected to fire in some way. So naturally I think the powers of the Flame-Flame Fruit are fun! Plus they make for awesome visuals!
The Calm-Calm Fruit is different. I think what draws me to that one is its potential. Strictly speaking, we only see Rosinante use it in two distinct ways: Silent and Calm. But I'm betting there's much more to it than that. I'm convinced there are other possible applications of this power. (It's interesting to note that this fruit has yet to pop up in the story again or be shown to be used by any other user since Corazon…hmm…)
Favorite Antagonist:
Oooh the antagonist one…that's such a good question.
Doflamingo does come to mind. Interesting character, massive threat, and showcased in one of my very favorite arcs in One Piece. I'd be lying if I said he wasn't compelling.
Katakuri and King have also both caught my interest. Both powerful and with interesting stories. I'd be happy if either of them show up again (especially King bc he's fascinating and Lunarian lore is almost certainly going to become relevant again 👀)
Wait, Kaku! I cannot forget about Kaku! 🦒I liked him before he was revealed as an antagonist, and overall I find him to be really interesting and funny. I just think he's neat. 🥔
Thanks for asking these! I enjoyed answering them! (Faves ask!)
Thinking about the idea that Ace has burn scars from the fires of the grey terminal. Like Dadan took the blunt of the flames but his legs and forearms still have faint scars. Now that he’s an adult they don’t look that impressive, though the irony or a man with the fire logia has burn marks is not beyond him. Most who don’t know how logia’s work just assume he burned himself and he lets them believe it. In fact he actively tells the average person that’s exactly how it happened with a big dorky smile. Though the people who do know can assume he must have received them before he ate the fruit. And why a man with burn scars ate the flame flame fruit is even more of a mystery.
Made some Flame Flame Fruit earrings for my Ace cosplay >:)
I can imagine snakes and other reptiles being attracted to Ace since his fruit makes him very hot and warm...❤️
