Plot swap
K:"You know Eclipse, I've seen a fair amount of Harry ( or hp character) as an Archoblanco, or Harry goes to Italy, or reincarnation, or Harry interacts with the Mafia in some way, plots, but has there ever been a straight up mostly plot swap?"
Like, Lilly and Petunia had a mother who married out of the Vologa family, and being normal was a trait Petunia got from her mother, who wanted to be excessively normal to blend in and not get noticed as ex Mafia. Unfortunately, it comes to an end, when one of her grandchildren activates as a sky (and her cousins children all end up dead, and in need of a new leader)
So Reborn is sent to train Harry (and Dudley) Into a Boss, and subordinate.
Reborn is displeased at the living conditions, and makes his displeasure known to the entirety of England.
Not sure if they would have magic or not, in this one. Could be interesting to do, either way.
Meanwhile, back in Japan, Tsuna wasn't sealed, but is on the autism spectrum, and going to Mahoutokoro, where his quiet study of magic is interrupted when meets half Italian, half Japanese Gokudera Hayato, a genius musician who loves to investigate, and drags him, and an increasingly growing group of friends to study magical beasts, rumors, and accidently gets them captured by an infamous group of white robes.
Maybe in this one, Hayato was orphaned by this alternative white robe Voldemort, and Tsuna has to learn to fight to protect himself and his friends, while also surviving quidditch, and his schoolwork.

K: "I can't see Dudley as a sky, but someone could probably spin it.

Tsuna gets used to sleeping on the roof, from the many times Hayato brings them onto it to use the telescopes.
Hayato with his chemistry and biology books, trying to find out, exactly how potions work, so he can modify them!

E: ,While some may see Dudley as a cloud, by the stereotype of violence that seems to follow it. I don't think he would fit that at all

Certainly. So am looking over the main characteristics so am feeling strongly towards storm or rain.

K: Hmm, the expectations would probably be storm, so maybe I want to try rain to flip expectations a bit.

Alternatively, they are both Skies, and messes, and different kinds of messes, nither of which Reborn feels is suited towards leading the Mafia. Let alone together.
Harry is an Electric sky, Dudley is a Rainy sky. Both are a mess he is not being paid enough to deal with.
Takeshi is the one who got Tsuna invested in Quidditch. It's not his fixation, although Tsuna likes flying, and wants to do something with it
Hibari, wears a gold robe, and values the rules of the school, and wants to bite this version of Voldemort to death with Tonfa's.

Because Dudley and Harry both have enough to sort out (particularly if they Sky battle each other) without adding angry competition (unless its to team up to win)
But I am also not quite sure what he would be doing in the wizard arc...

Xanxus in this verse, made his way into the Mafia, by joining the Varia, and eventually ended up leading it, after 14 year old Squalo decided "This! This is who I am going to have lead the assassins. And me! This angry street punk! Is my sky!" Wait, that's practicality cannon.
Oh My god mon ami. Canon or AU, the Volga legacy is lead by disaster sky messes, and their equally disaster guardians!"
E:" Both Au and canon are ruled by disaster skies it is confirmed!!"
K: " Wait, one more thing.
In this version Lavinia was a mistress, but when she was pregnant, married a japanese man, moved there, and was killed by alternate version white robe voldemort.
The Husbands brother raised him out of respect for what he thinks is his brothers son. Hayato takes piano, in memory of his mother.
His world is upset by Bianchi, who wants to meet her half brother, by her revolation, which may mean, he may not have actually been raised by his uncle, and his mother may have cheated on her husband, and he is just all upset by this, ok!
In this world, there were no "artistic poison piano recitals", but not all on the family front is smooth for him.
Takeshi's parents were both hitmen. His father put away the blade to be a parent. His mother, had a harder time with that.
Or maybe Takeshi's mother was a witch, and Takeshi also has a debt of revenge to pay to White Robe Voldemort.
I'm not sure what to do with Ismetsu.
He might be dead, because sometimes the odds jut roll wrong, and he kept his family on the DL enough, that almost nobody knew he was married, to the point that nobody thought of his civilian wife (who hadn't gotten to inform him she was pregnant).
Or maybe, when Tsuna got scared, what he called up wasn't flames, but magic. And Nana erased the memory from "Trimeto", and a lot of long conversations were had.
Or maybe it was public, and a mass wiping happened.
Also, what the heck should I do with Harry and Dudley, as an environment.
The Dursley family, for all they look normal, have issues.
So another environment for Reborn to train them in, would be needed.
Dudley, to get away from his family, and in a place he can grow into a better person.
Harry, a less abusive environment, where he can heal, and excel, without threat of Dudley sabotage.
But what the heck do I do with them, send them to Mafia school?"
E:"Hayato life is never easy will it be? But an interesting background!!!
Maybe mass wiping of memory would also allude to peoples bizarre dislike of Tsuna"
K:" Thanks. His Uncle did not really know his brother's wife well, or the circumstances, but is trying to do right by his brother.

E: "Mental magic can go bad sometime regardless of how skilled you are. More so if it was done with a mass wiping.
Or the memory they lost got tied with emotions, we may forget but our bodies remember feelings invoked by certain things, Tsuna ended up evoking those feelings of anger or some
