dolomite: a sleep headcanon Factors that contribute to a good night sleep for Kira Drake:• Significant other to hold onto or be held by, a heart beat soothes-If there is no s/o atm, heavy late night texting River, Ed, or J will do• Booster Gold PJs including but not limited to: Fan club t-shirt, loose short shorts, and socks (may or may not be fuzzy)Her cut off time is 2am, then she at least has to spend the next 8-10hrs indoors, in a preferably pitch black room. She doesn’t snore, but she does dream vividly, and may call out in her sleep. If she does have nightmares, do give her a pillow to cling to just in case her claws extend accidentally. It’s very unlikely she’ll bite, but it’s a-okay to sleep on the couch if she’s scary. What matters to her is her s/o’s safety.jasper: what my muse would be like as a parent• Kira would like to show them the world and how beautiful it can be, and probably would buy all sorts of maps and picture books on plants and animals. I know she’d love to teach Valera to draw, Jerome to paint, and maybe Fox how to dance. She won’t press singing, but she may annoy them by singing along to her CDs or the radio.• She’d like to protect them as much as she can, but in Gotham especially, kids are going to get hurt the moment they step outside. Her family has this tradition of fencing, but she won’t press it if they’re not interested. Skills like self-defense, boxing, pickpocketing, picking locks, and basic escape techniques are essential.• She hopes to sit down with each of them and discuss the matter of school. She will pay for private tutors, but if they don’t want to, she will encourage mastering their individual skills, and reading compulsively. Unfortunately, any legitimate lifestyle may be hindered without a GED / high school diploma, and / or furthered education.• That being said: anything they’d ask, she’d give graciously. Whomever they choose to become, whether to disrupt or overthrow the society she’s worked so hard to rebuild and maintain, or to become a pillar or integral part in it’s structure, she’d smile whole heartedly. • More than anything, she’d like to be as great and generous as she thought her parents would be if they were alive. She’d like her children to be a team, whether or not they choose to inherit her name. She’d like to watch them grow, and should any of them choose to have a family of their own, she would offer guidance and help to each generation for as long as she’s alive.
