SHE HATED FEELING HELPLESS, and while it was only a fraction of what she could do, it at least made Jean feel a little bit better about being stuck in this world. Despite her own fear at her powers, Jean had never felt shame about being a mutant. So it was with pride and a grin that she raised her hand, watching as one of her books obeyed her thoughts and followed it.
Her excitement only grew when she decided on who she wanted to show first.
She made her way over to Johnny’s building, slowly typing out a message on her phone. It was a new piece of technology that she hadn’t gotten used to yet, and Jean momentarily lamented how much easier it would have been to just telepathically get across her message. Alas.
