Maegruth & Starleth would like to wish everyone a very Happy Flameforger’s Festival!

There are no banners this year. It’s a relatively small change, but one that shakes you to your core. There are no streamers that crisscross the street. There are no stalls. There are no bells or lanterns. There are no dancers, no jars to collect their due,  no crowd to watch them. The forges are dark to the barest embers and the hearths are extinguished. The streets of Grand Annex live in a quiet peace they have never known before. Even the sun seems dim in its mid day swelter. 

Two exalts pass on their way up the mountain, dressed in armor with spears at the ready. Their eyes are weary and their stances prepared to leap into action at the smallest motion out of place. You watch them as they pass and one of them even takes the time to nod your way. “Happy Flameforgers!” they call.

You don’t respond.
