I cant help but imagine he kinda didnt process the fact she most likely spend as much time in the war as him or even did anything outside of instantly helping him then getting out like- he just thought "dang! I cant belive she went in for me and now were both out! Yay" end of thought, no further implications lmao

I need more poly ships with insane drama NOW. I need more internalized polyphobia tags I need a story where they don't just insta agree to be poly and all is fine and dandy i need DRAMA i need fear of hurting others but loving so much it would internaly KILL that character to just pick one i need a story where polyamory is treated like orientation rather than a button to insta kill any drama and tension

A thing I dont see many people talk about is how in epic mickey one of the biggest and also best flaws mickey has is the fact he figures out he caused the thinner disaster early on but he chooses to never tell anyone untill he's about to make up with oswald and it crushed under him that "alright if were making peace it has to be true I need to tell them now or else it will just beasicly be a lie"

because he does realize that he caused all this earier on but never tells anyone nor does he try to, I don't think its even brought up how HE MADE the shadow blot fully by himself even though it was an accident its something he caused and again he KNOWS he knows that but he just doesnt tell anyone

like its not brought up by the narrative but he was keeping that a secret from everyone and it WAS ON PURPOSE alright like he could have told gus or anyone else or he could have tried to but coudnt get to it and oswald getting angry enough to free the shadow blot still could have happened but he didnt even try to do that before that scene and honestly it makes me wonder if he would try to fully keep it under if not for it

like dont get me wrong mickey obviously is still a good character who helps around ALOT while activley fixing the concequences of those mistakes through the entire game BUT AT THE SAME TIME he does choose to keep everyone unaware of the fact those are concequences of his actions, that does recontextualize the whole thing alot

I love it when characters have bigger flaws and make bad decisions even if the narrative is dancing around it mwahahahahah

Id like to talk abt Fanny (once again!)

The thing i think kinda flew over many heads is how from her perspective so far almost nothing she has done left any impact

The questers are well the questers! They've seen in real time how all of their actions leave concequences both on places and people especialy eachother and they don't really have a status quo exept coming back to the same location (the house) and while yes on a larger scale there are characters that surely are stuck in some form of loop (cuphead, bendy come to mind the most)

But with fanny i think its crazy how before the candy shop thing she was accualy in a loop of going to work, coming back home, having to play "the perfect little wife" role or getting abused (ometimes the last two not excluding eachother im sure) and that just repeating over and over OVER THE COURSE OF THE WHOLE STORY AND BEFORE untill the candy shop plot came in and the loop slipped a bit it cracked slightly and got another thing to do added on into itself

Witch at first might not have seemed like much but definitley was a major change for her after what had to be years of that, then her relation with vicious deepened (in a really strange way sure but it did) and so did it with cuphead, then the fact her husband is abusive came out not only to vicious but also to cuphead (witch i think we kinda glanced over how big that was like i dont think even dovil knows that i mean she does know brutes a pos of course but I meant like being abusive to fanny to this excent)

But either way i wanted to just say through the story none of fannys actions left any bigger concequences untill kissing cuphead witch is when she got really ripped from that loop of everyday being forced to do the same thing, i think that is one of the reasons why she was so unattached to everything and everyone, because she saw everyone at the table as a player but herself only as a spectator who can't make any accualy important moves, untill she did pull that shit with cuphead and there was no one else who could have made this giant action that lead to everything afterwards that was just her

i think that reminder is what truly pushed her forwards the reminder that HER actions do have concequences that HER actions do accualy matter no matter what her husband says or how dismissed she can be the reminder of the truth being that she is as much of a player as everyone else by the table
