Been playing Stray. Cool game. Interesting concept. Having fun. All good. Just one quick question though...
Why is Momo’s coat made from the skin of this cup I’ve had sitting in my bathroom since last year?
I don’t even look at this cup really, but obviously I see it on the regular and I was not prepared to have a real world object that pre-dates my exposure to this video game jump through my monitor and punch me in the brainstem. The realisation was like I’d be staring into a dark corner without knowing why only to suddenly recognise the pair of eyes staring back at me.
Thanks cyberpunk dystopia video game, I have to go lie down now.

Doll clothes: turning socks into sweaters - Flamingo edition!
Recently I decided to try one of many methods around to made doll sweaters from socks (specifically, THIS ONE) and I’ve been using some crazy socks I bought discounted here and there.
This is my second attempt, and also the first complete sweater and my first time ever using velcro. There was not enough elastic for all the borders and I had to take fabric from the toes to sew a neck, which came out pretty uneven. And somehow, the two back pieces had, like, different lengths, and the closure is overall a hot mess:
But still, not bad. This fabric is very forgiving of mistakes.
My idea was to make all these sweaters at least a bit big for curvy barbies, so they would look fine on the two curvy-barbie-bodied dolls with no need of continuous stretching, and oversized-cute on the obitsu girl. I guess obitsu-girl can claim this sweater all for herself (theme-wise, it was already hers anyway), and I’ll be more generous when cutting the next ones. It will be easier to do so now that I got some plain black ones for some of the backs and sleeves to make better use of the cute fabrics.
The tutorial I linked takes no measures, but once I confirm the measurements I took, I’ll make sure to share them, so stay tuned!
