⤷ kazuha has always been told he had an "old soul". he was raised to be a gentleman and take care of others. he wanted to convey all of his lessons and memories into his words, and hoped they would reach at least one person -- maybe in a tough spot or just someone that resonated with his story. that's why he wants to pursue creative writing as his major, and to hopefully be a published author after graduation.
⤷ venti's, unfortunately, the oldest of the group. he keeps it a point to remind everyone to "respect their elders", even though he's barely a second year -- venti decided to take a gap year (3 years..) to, in his words, discover himself and travel. he's still undeclared in his major, but is leaning towards music study or a foreign language. he's the president of the poetry club alongside kazuha, a project they'd started in their 1st year when kazuha still had a lot more on his plate.
⤷ ayato is kazuha's closest friend among the group. he's wise, level-headed, and knows what kazuha thinks and needs by simply taking a glance at him. he's majoring in business with his younger sister so that she doesn't have to be alone in adjusting to college life, more than he actually needs anything that the professors tell him in class -- he learned all of it the hard way.
⤷ scaramouche's major is child psychology, and he's doing very well in it! as a 2nd year, he's already learned a lot and excelling in his labs. he was introduced to the group by kazuha during the summer, while the group was at a festival. he usually only hangs around kazuha, because the others irk him too much -- not including xiao, he's the only one scara can see himself actually being friends with outside of kazuha.
⤷ xiao's the adopted first year of the group. regardless of him being 19 and not a child, the other 5 still baby him and pamper him like the youngest child in a family would. it enraged him to no end in the beginning, but after a while he had grown accustomed to it (and even began to enjoy it, but that will be his secret to keep).
⤷ hutao is venti's partner in crime when it comes to playing pranks, and it's how they bonded when kazuha and xiao had first introduced them. the two of them love messing with ayato to get him to loosen up a little -- spoiler: it almost never works and they always leave with a gentle bonk on the head. she's in her second year of anthropology, and was quickly chosen as professor zhongli's favorite, which astounds everyone to this day.
