so far what's your recommended team (like unit types/roles etc) for the new tempest? i'm not doing nearly as well with this one as i did with the black knight one :(

I mean if you want a boss counter, units with good res, or a green tomebreaker skill will do you wonders.

Otherwise I’ve avoided horse units due to the maps having a lot of trees, and I’ve been running a flier, infantry archer, Ayra and then a dancer in my case inigo.

Once I do a few more battles I can make a proper guide for the tempest though

girl the uproar about the loot boxes eclipsed everything else about the game. glad u had fun w the campaign tho :D

i saw all that drama, but i am very much not a multiplayer person and am only here for the campaign, so i figured it wouldn’t have too much impact on what i ultimately did with the game lmao

4. did your opinions on any character(s) change? impressed by a character? let down?

Well, I never expected I would love Ignis as much as I do now! I don’t know why, but for some reason I was just expecting him to be the cold and emotionless, only doing whatever his royal duties tells him. But he’s so caring, protective and passionate there’s nothing I don’t love about him. I mean even after he goes blind he’s determined to remain with the others till the bitter end.

6. characters you wanted to see interact more?

Luna and Noctis! I mean, the only time they actually met in the game (not counting flashbacks and Luna’s death) was during the fight against the Leviathan and Noctis wasn’t even conscious. They did meet again in the end, but still! I would’ve loved to see some more of these two together. I also wish the rest of the gang could’ve met Luna too, since the first half of their journey was dedicated to getting Noctis to his wedding/Luna. Also, since it was established in Brotherhood that Noctis did send pictures and whatnot of his friends to her + Prompto did also talk to her through letters.

I also would’ve liked to see more interactions with Ravus in general. Maybe if there would’ve been some boss fight with him before he died and was brought back as a daemon. Since it’s established in flashbacks between him and Luna that he didn’t really think Noctis was suited for the throne, it would’ve been nice to also see that in interactions between him and Noctis. Maybe also see how this opinions changes as Noctis characters develops. 

Also!! I wish we could’ve seen more of Regis, also just in general, in the game. I know that he dies pretty much right at the beginning of the game, but maybe we could’ve had Noctis reminiscing over the time he had with his father before everything went down. 

12. feelings on the ending. were you satisfied or left down? would you change anything, or keep it the same?

Ahhh I have a lot of feelings surrounding the ending, all of them mostly just causing me to wanna rip my heart out. The scene where Noctis departs from his friends for the last time then followed by the after credits scene where they camp together for the very last time was heart wrenching. Then when the sun rose again after 10 years of darkness was a sweet touch to the previously bitter scenes, though I never thought I’d ever be sad over the sight of a pair of coleman chairs. The marriage scene between Noctis and Luna was also a pretty sweet sight, though I think I would’ve felt much more if they would’ve had more interactions throughout the game (don’t get me wrong, I cried through the whole ending but ya get my point!)

It’s also these little things interactions before the ending that got me later. Like the one where Noctis asks Ignis if he can sense light. Since Tabata pretty much left the fate of Ignis, Gladio and Prompto up for interpretation, then them dying just got me thinking about how they hard they fought only to never again experience the dawn of a new day. But them living and then meeting this sunrise is almost worse, since then that also (at least to me) just feels like the end of the road for them nevertheless. Noctis is gone.

I feel like this maybe sounds a little confusing by now since I’m pretty much just rambling haha. But yeah, I’d say I’m satisified with the ending.
