Question: what does everybody do with their Fidget Cube cases? Does anyone actually use them for storing their cubes?
I stack mine in a row in front of my Sean Williams books, apparently. Because the Zuru ones (orange and pink) have a horrible petrol-plastic smell and the Antsy Labs one (grey) is so hard to open, I can’t use them for storing the cubes. Plus it’s easier just to keep my cubes in an open basket or the zip pouch that is my travelling stim toy kit. I just ... stack the cases somewhere out of the way.
The Antsy Labs cube was a gift from @ambiguouspieces, and my honest opinion is that it’s better than the Zuru cubes, but not enough to justify the high shipping costs to Australia...
[image description: three plastic cube-shaped fidget cube cases - one with a yellow tray, one with a pink tray and one with a grey tray - stacked on top of each other in front of the spines of Sean Williams’ The Change and Books of the Cataclysm series, plus a mass market copy of The Resurrected Man. The books are a mix of mass market and trade paperback. Bracketing the cases are two Daiso liquid motion bubblers, one pink and round, one green and a squared-off hourglass shape. The cubes have a plastic tray covered by a clear plastic square lid, ordinarily housing the fidget cube, now empty.]
