DigitalBrand web design agency flash website 2003 (x)
A robot girl who was designed around software that's rapidly becoming defunct.
It started with seeing warnings about insecure connections, easily ignored annoyances. But then they started to become more insistent. More troublesome. Sometimes requiring her to go to her settings to dismiss them, sometimes even forcing her to ask Miss for her Admin password to enable obscure permissions. Miss always would, but she hated to have to ask.
Then things started to get worse. Places she'd never had issues with before were suddenly inaccessible. Things she could once do without a thought were now out of reach or dangerous.
And with those places and things she lost the people she'd met there too.
Some stayed in touch, but even if they did, even if they made an effort, she still saw them less than before. Others just sort of drifted away. Their last meetings so unexpected the hadn't even given a proper goodbye.
Her first time going for maintenance after was a real shock. Her usual place where she knew all the people and had even flirted with some of them turned her away unceremoniously. "A danger to their entire network", "Too much of a liability", or just "Sorry" were the only answers she got. The only places that did help treated her more like an oddity or a toy than a person. Talked about her chassis and its quirks right in front of her like she wasn't even there.
Her connections were blinking out fast now. Miss had to set up an emulator even just to let her connect at home, and the artificial nodes were so empty without the chatter of her friends.
Maybe an update would come. An official new version seemed further off by the day, but perhaps some rogue coder or bored enthusiast would find a way. Would find something to let her connect like she used to.
Until then, at least she had Miss.

IM A CRAZY WEIRDO AND IM CALLING YOU! i love this show so much
Where are safe spaces online for kids and tweens?
I've been hearing a lot about some Roblox drama recently and I'm sorry to hear that Roblox is going downhill. My friend has a Roblox and we play together I don't have an account however and I don't have money to buy robucks, so I'm missing out. According to her, Roblox was more fun a few years ago than it is currently right now, and the CEO had recently got into some controversy. Apparently he wanted to make it into a dating sim for kids (which makes him a p*dophile) and he got into some drama with a user called Schlepp who caught p*dophiles on Roblox. What Schlepp did a was a good thing, right? There's a whole drama that's surrounding that and I['m not going to get into too much detail, I'm mostly here to complain about how there's no safe spaces online for kids and tweens anymore.
So, Roblox is going downhill, now what? Club Penguin shut down and the newer version doesn't exactly attract any kids, mostly nostalgic adults who couldn't let the old one go (Disney lost it's kid fanbase anyway, and even though I hate Disney, I kind of feel bad about the Elio situation). Webkinz isn't really much of a thing anymore either, but I thought the dolls were so cute. Like Club Penguin, the Webkinz website is mostly only still up because of the nostalgic adults, and it's a "renewed" version because they couldn't keep their flash games. Animal Jam is still around but I think you have to pay for it, I'm not sure. I'm broke and most normal families won't be paying money for their kids to use a website they might get bored of (I think more people would pay for Roblox since there's more things to do on there). The biggest thing I complain about is honestly the lack of online game websites. I never used CoolMathGames but I used a lot of the girly girl dress up websites, and I think I even made a post on them before. I played almost about every dress up website one can think of, some of them most people probably never heard of. GirlsGoGames was the most popular but ironically, I don't think I used that one as much, I mostly played Didigames and Games2Girls and Loligames because they had more simple dress up games where it was just pick out hair and makeup and outfit, and less games like "devilish hairstylist" which did not appeal to me. I was a girly girl, I can't speak for girls who were more tomboyish and I can't speak for boys either (I knew a few guys who played some of the "girly" games though).
Aside from the girly girl dress up ones, what about the normal flash games where you did things like draw an object to protect the character, or catch the objects falling from the sky. Like, the gender-neutral ones were fun too and I lot of the concepts were made into phone apps, and a lot of the low quality phone apps ended up on the few flash game type websites that are still around. GirlsGoGames turned into "GoonersGoGames" because some of the non-flash games that aren't from phone apps, are highly inappropriate. A lot of Picrew dress up games are inappropriate too and aren't made by professionals. There are a lot of cute Picrew dress up games, don't get me wrong, but I found some ones on there that are inappropriate. But anyway, if you revisit GirlsGoGames and see the "Elsa pregnant surgery" or "Elsa foot surgery" or "Anna Rapunzel dental surgery" type games, I see a lot of those are a fetish to see kids' favorite princesses all beat up and needing surgery. I always look up the website and I did contact one of them and complain, but they didn't respond. GirlsGoGames does not make the weird surgery ones, those are from other websites.
Whoever got rid of Adobe Flash Player is pure evil and I hope they are suffering! Tell my your thoughts!
Club Penguin 🐧🧹 Waddle around and meet new friends!
early 2000s webkinz rooms that i made that i feel like could have been made by a kid.
the webkinz player base is comprised of teens and adults now, which means we have elaborate rooms with many estore items. these rooms are complex and took a lot of time and real life money put into them - which i respect
but the nostalgia of old webkinz. that is what i yearn for. a game that is still populated by young kids and tweens who do not have an eye for interior decoration. they just want a simple kitchen or bathroom for their pink pony. a room that can be made in under 5 minutes with kinzcash only
and so that is what these rooms are. an ode to classic webkinz
