what about team galactic and all the lore that platinum/gen 4 started??

i liked cyrus! i think he’s got ambition if nothing else lmao

the focus on mythology in gen 4 was neat, too; it gave sinnoh character and added to that laid-back, old-timey feel they had going on. but a lot of that is not really touched in the main narrative (at least that i can recall). i cited b/w because that game makes a point of showcasing ethics and morals in a slightly more fleshed out story than ever before, and has had the most effort to date imo

its pretty interesting, pokespe lance's mission was pretty much team plasmas mission, i feel like theyre running out of potential team ideas. flare seriously had a great concept it just didnt get maxed out or developed really at all

HAVING GALACTIC MAKE A RETURN FOR SUMO WOULD BE SO RAD... maybe one of the commanders has taken over (assuming this game takes place post-dppt)... how neat would that be

and yeah i do agree that flare could have been a lot more than they ended up being... but i guess that would have ended up being too dark for a pokemon game and i honestly don’t see them getting any darker for a long time. also: holy shit is that right?? i have not read the rby/gsc chapters of pokespe so i didn’t know... that’s interesting, i should check it out

yeah, i mean, i think they look way too similar for them to be 100% unrelated - we know n is adopted, but he still looks a ton like ghetsis
