Flash Forward Festival - Emerging photographers from Canada, the UK and US

Selected images from my series A Winter in Kandahar will be part of the Flash Forward Festival in Toronto on October 6–10, 2010

The Magenta Foundation’s Flash Forward Festival, a natural expansion of the annual Flash Forward Competition for Emerging Photographers. This new biennial festival provides the setting for all interested emerging photographers to gain essential exposure, experience, and networking opportunities as they develop their careers as artmakers.

Hosted in Toronto’s vibrant Liberty Village neighbourhood, the Flash Forward Festival is unique among North American visual arts events. Participants will make important industry connections, meet gallerists and potential patrons, and find out the best ways to present their work while being exposed to new audiences.
