Halloween dress up for my friends flat warming!!
I'm going to have a nice big girls-only flat warming mid-July with some of my friends, and I need to figure out what to do about my hair. I intend on wearing this, just because I really want an excuse to wear this (although it does need letting out a little on the straps) but I have no idea what to do about my hair. I think it's important as an event, because I think if I feel confident enough about how I look, I might actually be brave enough to try and venture outside the house again properly as myself, and as petrified as I am I really goddamned want to try that - but my hair gave me away last time and I'm quite worried it will again.
It grows sooooo fast and right now it's just on the edge of where I can style it into a vaguely feminine cut, and I mean right on the edge. You'd think it'd be a good thing it grows so fast if I want to grow it out to longer, but all that results in at the moment is a horrific and manageable mullet ...so I guess I need to try and aim for an actual style to approach a hairdresser with or something, if I can be brave enough, but I don't know *what*... Anyone got any suggestion for what I can do??
Went to a flat warming last night. Probably talked about Harry Potter for a good couple of hours, and some of the people there actually thought it was endearing. SCORE!!! For once my obsession has not scared people away.
