Bit of a remix... some stuff I had used for Lost Boys collaging mixed with some things from the last collage I posted here. Meet my new PC desktop wallpaper. Not sure if I will do anything else creative-ish before bed. Maybe?
Creative projects in progress, the day's adventures, etc., below.
I added a little to my 2026 Manifestation Vibes playlist, having discovered while I like the IDEA of the playlist, I'm not super into some of the songs. We'll have to see where I go with that.
Yesterday was a super rough mental health day. Off the charts. But I made it. Work was closed today, so I snuck in a lengthy nap. And after watching Lost Boys tonight, I FINALLY managed to make myself ACTUAL food. Bacon. Seasoned eggs with shredded Parmesan and green sauce (I crossed the streams and blended Italian and Mexican, between the sauce and the seasoning, but it was very tasty).
AND earlier today, I made it the rest of the way through the first Young Guns. I'm curious to see how they sequeled it, since they wrap up the first one with voice-over narration stating how they all split up, etc., and how Billy the Kid was finally shot and killed.
Between watching the second one and taking another peek at the cowboys & Dracula prequel script, I might find some cowboy David inspiration. I love that Kiefer's Young Guns character aspired to be a poet, even if he plagiarized Poe. That's kind of a cute detail, really.
Reminds me of Buffy's Spike, prior to his having been turned.
And then there are the other odds and ends possibly awaiting continuation... but there may be some overlap there. I edited out the bit in "Blood and Honey" that mentioned Dwayne having been an outlaw with David but kept the reference to tintype photos. So picking up where that left off may give me room for some cowboy David flashbacks.
I'm eager to get back into Nelson Wright and Michael Emerson's first Christmas and all the ensuing ooky spooky that brings, too.
