Honestly my favorite thing about headcanoning Shane as the Wizard's son is imagining Rasmodius having to stop dead in his tracks one day because the ranch suddenly has blue chickens and he suddenly realizes he was very mistaken.

But more seriously love the idea that Joja was so draining for Shane to work for because he was unintentionally throwing off the balance of nature, as well as unintentionally going against his own. The alcoholism and other bad habits definitely contributed but once he decided to make a change and work on himself he started to access his own magic, accidentally making blue chickens.

You also can't convince me when asked how he gets blue chickens he doesnt just respond with "blue eggs" (he doesn't know either)
