Time agents

Out in the land of heat and death where no sane person would live, but here in this land of intensive heat was a secret base that was heavily protected from the outside. In the underground of the base there were many departments from the mundane to the unusual, one of the most unusual is the about time travel.

In one of those rooms of the time travel department had two different tv screens, the first one was moniting for any time disturbances, one monitoring the whole world and hooked to a machine that was connected to the same one that was hooked the to the one monitoring time disturbances so it can put the location and time on the screen.

One of the agents was in this room observing the screens.

The environment post-war isn’t conducive to hospitality in Wutai, especially to those who look like her, plagued with blonde hair and pale eyes: who resemble the enemy. And even if such a young woman hadn’t participated, is only a child just as the crown heir, just her fair skin and foreign tongue is still enough to trigger violent reaction-- especially from those in rural village, who are still rebuilding communities.

Even if it’s been a few years since the war, it’s only a few, and the only ‘ tourist attractions ’ ( gawd, what a terrible idea; she’ll never agree to her father’s ideas ) were primarily those of memorials. It’s an interesting choice, one that intrigues those who were outside the conflict by far, but for those who are from the far East, from Midgar? 

Well, that’s what she hopes to learn today.

People just weren’t out at this time at night-well, not good people anyway. Although she assumed she could be the exception, wanting more of a relaxing nightly walk than getting into trouble. Of course, her father hated this but knew no one would touch his daughter without certain repercussions-and, of course, it never hurt to carry around a bat, right?

Clunky boots made its way down an alley, a usual shortcut on the walk home. With the bat casually rested on her shoulder, Melody whistled a soft tune to calm her nerves as she walked through the darkened passage. Not that she was afraid-just that she had a feeling she wasn’t alone. And as fate would have it, she was right.

It wasn’t until Melody was practically two steps away from the girl that she had noticed her, her soft tune abruptly stopping as grey eyes drifted down to the concrete floor below. Her stomach lurched, a sick feeling when she saw the blonde bloodied and bruised, a girl that could’ve have been much younger than herself. Melody soon squatted down in front of her, red locks brushing against the dirtied ground as a hand reached out to access the damage, personal space be damned.

“Oi, ya’ okay?” It was a base question, but naturally had to be asked anyway, “ It ain’t safe ‘round here this time o’ night, y’know?”

The teenager frowned, noting all the bruising that had yet to be covered up “Shit, ya’ really took a beatin’, huh?-Ah! nevermind that. Got anywhere to go? My house ain’t too far from here. You’re in no condition to be waitin’ around in this place.”

Regardless of what the blonde would answer, Melody stood up, hands now outstretched to help the other follow suit.

Under the trees of a distant jungle world, Bubbles the pink Bouncywild was taking a little nap after exploring. Then, all of a sudden, the leaves were rustling, causing her to wake up in shock. She prepares to defend herself with her slingshot.
