Start your day with some savory and satisfying breakfast nachos. They're stuffed with flavorful sausage and veggies, crispy tortilla chips, gooey cheese, and scrambled eggs. To add even more flavor, garnish them with sour cream, salsa, and cilantro.
Ingredients: 4 cups tortilla chips. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1 cup cooked breakfast sausage. 1/2 cup diced bell peppers. 1/2 cup diced onions. 4 large eggs. 1/4 cup milk. Salt and pepper to taste. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro. 1/4 cup salsa. 1/4 cup sour cream.
Instructions: Set the oven temperature to 175C 350F. Line a baking sheet with tortilla chips and spread them evenly. Over the chips, scatter the shredded cheddar cheese. The cooked breakfast sausage, chopped bell peppers, and chopped onions should be sauted in a skillet until they are thoroughly cooked and have a light brown color. Scatter the sausage and veggie mixture evenly over the cheese and chips. Whisk the eggs, milk, pepper, and salt in a bowl. Over the nachos, drizzle this mixture. The nachos should be baked in a preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling and the eggs are set. After taking the nachos out of the oven, allow them to cool slightly. Pour sour cream and salsa over the nachos' surface. Add chopped cilantro as a garnish. After serving, savor your delectable breakfast nachos!
