These Chocolate Sun Butter Pancake Sandwiches are a delightful treat that combines the rich flavors of chocolate and sunflower seed butter. They make for a perfect breakfast or brunch option that both kids and adults will love. Add a dollop of whipped cream and some fresh berries for an extra special touch.
Ingredients: 1 cup pancake mix. 1/4 cup cocoa powder. 1/4 cup chocolate chips. 1/2 cup milk. 1/4 cup sunflower seed butter. 2 tablespoons maple syrup. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 egg. 2 tablespoons butter. Whipped cream optional. Fresh berries optional.
Instructions: Mix the cocoa powder and pancake mix together in a bowl. Incorporate the chocolate chips into the dry mixture by stirring thoroughly. Mix the egg, sunflower seed butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and milk thoroughly in a different bowl. Once you have a smooth batter, pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir. Melt some butter in a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat to coat the surface. For each pancake, transfer approximately 1/4 cup of the batter onto the skillet. Cook until surface bubbles appear, then turn and continue cooking until golden brown on the other side. After taking the pancakes out of the skillet, allow them to cool a little. Make a sandwich by spreading one pancake with sunflower seed butter and then placing another pancake on top. To make the desired number of pancake sandwiches, repeat this step. Garnish with fresh berries and whipped cream, if you'd like. Your delectable Chocolate Sun Butter Pancake Sandwiches are ready to be served. Enjoy!
