From the instant that Markus turned around in the bridge of Jericho and saw Connor standing there, aiming a gun at him....the feeling had grown.
You wouldn’t think you could feel immediate lust toward someone who was intending to stop your revolution or kill you, but that was absolutely the primary feeling that coursed through his veins when he met the RK800′s heated brown eyes. And when Connor chose him--well, he chose freedom, but it felt the same--Markus knew his world would never be the same.
The revolution succeeded, and that was definitely partly to Connor’s credit. He came through with his plan to free more androids from the CyberLife Tower. Seeing him striding proudly to join them, head high and confidence radiating from him, Markus was doomed.
He moved past the human soldiers who had lowered their guns, past the remaining survivors of his small group who stood their ground. Reaching Connor, Markus paused for a heartbeat, wondering if he was going to cross a line he shouldn’t be.
But looking at Connor’s face, Markus couldn’t stop himself. He closed the remaining space between them, cupped the other android’s face between his hands, and pressed his mouth against Connor’s.
