Hey y'all, it's been a while. Just wanted to post kind of a life update? I don't remember when i was last on here, but i moved out of my parents house last year. I got a new job in May and I'm close to getting a full time position there (i already work full time hours anyway, but the full time position is fixed hours, which is great, i need routine to fit my schedule around.)

I got lip piercings. I have a cat. I got by she/they pronouns now. I'm still doing cosplay on tiktok, and I've got 13k followers now which is insane!! And honestly, cosplay is kinda my full time hobby and I don't see myself coming back to roleplaying any time soon. I've been gone over half a year, i think, and it seems dumb to come back just to say I'm not coming back, but i don't wanna leave this blog just dead and not have said anything, y'know?

Obviously the blog is staying up, i wouldn't dare think of deleting it, bc i like reminiscing, and who knows, maybe I'll replay dbh and come back to writing. Of course, any mutuals who don't already have my discord are welcome to ask for it, just to chat bc I'm literally just not roleplaying at all for the time being.

Tldr: not dead, new job, am tired, no more roleplaying, but maybe someday.

I miss roleplaying, but specifically in 2018/2019. I miss all my friends and all the goofs and shenanigans and the ships we had. I miss the connections and the laughs. I miss the discord servers we had and the memes and plots and headcanons that came out of them. I miss everything and everyone, and even if/when i come back to writing here, i know it won't be the same, and I'll always be sad about it

I’m scrolling through my old posts, like 2019 old, and remember when I dyed my hair blue? and like, it looked good, but I did it right before my family vacation to Mexico, and it ended up being a huge problem bc I couldn’t swim bc i’d get my hair wet and the color would bleed and stain my clothes. yeah... that really sucked. I should have stuck to just the bleach wash and leaving it strawberry blonde at the time.

Her fingers closed around the ball of snow in her hand, slowly digging into it and breaking it apart. She knew snow was supposed to be cold, that without gloves on she shouldn’t play with it too long. But Kara had turned off her temperature sensitivity when she’d complained about the cold. It was easier that way. 

She shook her head, snowflakes that had gathered in her curls falling to the ground with the motion. “No. I can’t feel it. Not really, anyway.” She replied, dropping the crushed snowball from her hand. “Is it too cold for you?” She asked, looking over at Cole.

Tina looked up from where she was filling up a balloon, the rubber material sitting in the sink as she dumped another pudding cup into the funnel sticking into it. “No! Maybe? I don’t know.” She shrugged, giving the funnel a tap and the balloon opening a tug to get the substance to go in. “Probably not, as long as you get out of the splash zone. I just need someone to get Reed into a position where I can drop this on his head!” As she spoke, she pinched the opening, pulling the funnel out and tying the balloon closed. Tina lifted the pudding filled balloon, careful not to drop it as she presented it to Tess. 

“You’re the only one who can do that for me. Reed wouldn’t do anything Hank asks of him, and I don’t think Connor would help me or even be able to get Gavin to follow him anywhere. And I already asked Chris and he said no. So you’re my gal!”
