My halloween group! Couldn’t get all four horsepeople of the apocalypse togetherl the above is Pestilence, Special Guest Unicorn, War and Famine (me). The sign says “FEED ME”. Yes that’s my real waist, and yes it is post-burrito.

We did our Second Annual Chipotle Crawl — Chipotle has a special where you can get a boo-rito for $3, one per person per location, so we went to a whole bunch of different Chipotles. Last year I got five burritos, this year managed seven. A successful halloween!

1) I just looked up your fic and it hurts so good. Thank you for adding a plank to the Sad Shea Weber ship.

2) Thank you. I have a better perspective on it now than I did back then. I’d still write it because I enjoy those fics, I just have an awareness that - at least back then - it wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea. It’s possible that fandom has shifted, or maybe just less people know who they are now and so people don’t get so bitchy about it. Idk. I care less about their opinions on it now, but I still have this general assumption that only a very limited number of people are interested in those stories.

Fandom has defintely changed a lot in the last few years (I’d say the major shift was the K/T implosion when a chunk of fandom just quit altogether), there’s less public vitriol (at least not where I’ve seen it but I’m also perennially out of the loop). Also seeing as we’ve all established that I basically don’t write any big pairings this pretty much leads me to believe that my fics are like, advanced level RPF. This is a 400 level course, you need years of fan knowledge, Wikipedia, and an excellent set of belief suspenders to read my fics.

Thank youuuu! I mean, there are some things I can answer, it’s just that that particular ask was full of literally only questions that would spoil the next fic....
