Respect to anyone learning to spin on an old flax wheel.
I have heard so much about how they are a little special but I have never tried it out myself. But since I've given my new old wheel some loving care (which included disassembling as far as possible) and filled the first bobbin I can agree. It's not the easiest wheel to spin on. You need to listen to it. But it works and it is fun to work with her.
