If my opponent has 1 expedition envoy equipped with stoneforge masterwork, and 2 zulaport cutthroats. Envoy is 4/3, each zulaports are 1/1. If I cast radiant flames for 1 damage, will envoy die? If so, will it trigger zulaport's drain ability?... On the same situation, if i cast flaying tendrils instead, will envoy be exiled?
It will die or be exiled in both cases. It won’t trigger the Cutthroats since it dies in the second check of state-based actions while the Cutthroats die in the first check.
If I cast Flaying Tendrils and in response a 4c Rally player sacs all their 2 toughness creatures to Nantuko Husk with Tendrils on the stack, do those creatures remain in the graveyard after Tendrils resolves? Does the 'if a creature would dies this turn' clause only consider creatures that die after Tendrils resolves?
Yes and yes.
I have Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet on the battlefield and cast Flaying Tendrils. Do I get to choose which replacement effect replaces the death of my opponent's creatures (i.e. do I get Zombie tokens)?
No, the controller of the creature that would die gets to choose which of the replacement effects to apply.
