The Page of Cups is poetic, mystical, and emotionally open. We can see their poeticism in the lotus flowers upon their tunic, and their mystical nature in the fish within the cup. In many tarot cards, marine animals are seen as mystical or meant to represent the unconscious. By having a fish within their cup, the Page shows their connection to the mysteries of the world and their mastery over the unconscious mind. The predominance of waves behind the youth shows their emotional availability, as their waters are open and possessing some turbulence, but not so much that it becomes a wave. The grey background shows their impartiality, as even strong emotions cannot shake their morals and outlook on life. 

Overall, this card shows the characteristics of an imaginative youth. They look into the cup, seeming to ponder the depths of their own subconscious mind. The pose of the youth shows that they are sensitive but can be quite witty, as their open stance and relaxed gestures show them as not taking themselves too seriously. 

I relate this youth to Flayn. She is young, imaginative, spiritual, and emotionally available to anyone that comes into her path. We see her youth through her naivety, as she only remembers the world from nearly a thousand years ago, and is not quite worldly to the current goings ons of her world. She is certainly imaginative, as seen through her prolonged analogy with the sea in her Byleth C-Support. And she is certainly emotionally available, as seen through her wide range of supports with characters from every house and faculty. 

Just like the Page, Flayn is also in need of protection, as she is not very strong on her own. But in a way, Flayn's open spirit and naivety is a form of bravery. It takes courage to be kind and to think the best of people even after the horrors she had been through, demonstrating the strength of such a soft element like Water.
