Okay so I just finished watching all of flcl on 9anime with a friend, and as we're going through each season we've been looking at the start rating. So can someone please explain to me why the hell grunge got a 4.3 but shoegaze got like 2 stars!? [Big spoilers (kinda?) for alternative and shoegaze go watch!]

Homies! They literally continue on the gay and unfortunately probably not happening Yuri in alternative in shoegaze but also in shoegaze itself the ending suggests at the two being gay for each other! Actually MlM in my good anime! And in all three episodes I was invested in this weird but funky romance!

Grunge tho? The supposed 4 star?! That shit was tryna be weird to just be weird! That wasn't flcl it was just..meh! And cgi really didn't do well with flcl tbh- (the only plus I give grunge is having haruko but tbh even with shoegaze not having her I really liked it tbh-)

I know Grunge is re-running, but I still appreciate how Haruka is at her absolute BEST when she’s being nice to the teen girls of the cast across the series

I imagine she was around this age when she fell in love to Atomsk, so she knows how it feels to be insecure and weird, which leads to making stupid decisions like following a cosmic alien entity across the universe even tho he’s kind of an asshole who should kick rocks anyway

Idk. Haruka is very specific when interacting w people, so her having a soft spot for troubled girls makes me think

I don't really have much to say watching FLCL Grunge for the fifth time so here's my ranking of the FLCL series

I know it's probably not the reason, but I'd like to think that the unnecessary DeMarco FLCL shows are what caused the Pillows to break up.

okay, im doing it for real this time

but im finally going to rewatch all the FLCL sequels and save the OG FLCL last

ive already started on Progressive and am on the 5th episode. it's......a struggle this one....

ill try writing my thoughts on each season when im done with them, emphasis on the word try lol

I think some other time i try this rewatch, ill do it in chronological order
