breathing really, really hurts, she decides. especially with a knife stuck in your chest. yet she still tries, each one sending a new ripple of pain through her. she can’t look away from barry, from the hand still wrapped around the hilt of the knife. why? she wants to ask. why did you do this? is everything okay, what’s wrong?
and yet, all clara finds herself doing is raise a shaky arm, resting her palm lightly on barry’s cheek. but there’s no smile that follows, not even a single tear is shed. she just stands there, a trembling palm pressed against the cheek of the man she loves.
she doesn’t even try to escape with her powers. she can’t.
“ . . . it’s okay. . . i’m fine. ”

MY OPINION ON;
CHARACTER IN GENERAL: Barry is my favourite male character in the show and most likely tied for second (or possibly just made it to second) out of all my shows. He is the cutest little thing and the fact that Grant plays him is just 300x better. I shall protect my 25 year old child with my tiny, teenage self. HOW THEY PLAY THEM: I really like reading your threads actually! Especially anything with that Clara you play with (seeswonders I believe?). Seriously. Cute as fudge. But in all your other threads, I feel like you’ve got a pretty good feel for Barry and that you play him justice too, which is really nice to see!THE MUN: I haven’t been able to talk to you ooc at all but I’d be super interesting in changing that since you seem pretty rad!

OVERALL OPINION: A really super blog and, this is weird to say in one of these, but I like your theme???? Very well organized and all that jazz!

it doesn’t even hit her at first that she’s moved, that she’s no longer trying to DEFEND herself against the other meta human. she just stands there, her thoughts still racing, always coming back to two clear words. safety and barry. the pain even feels dulled now, almost like a mild irritation as opposed to an actual injury. that doesn’t stop the blood that stains her clothes as her wounds continue to bleed, that doesn’t stop her breathing from being ragged and clipped. and then he’s in front of her, his thumb brushing away some of the blood on her face, and her thoughts CRASH right back to the front of her mind. she bites down harshly on her lip before she can scream, before she can react to the pain that is returning to her body. clara reaches out and grabs onto barry, clinging to him like a lifeline.
“ h-hurts. . . m-meta human, they. . . i-i tried to fight back. . . ”

She stared at him for a moment, trying to think of what to say. Oh, just the fact that her and the body look exactly alike and that the body is in fact a mirage of Evan? That could be great. Cautiously she moved to stand in front of it, trying to look defensive but not menacing.
