Sorry! One question I forgot to ask that just came up, do you recommend 100% cotton string over polyester string or even cotton-covered polyester for tying up a marimo? I also have a thicker wax cotton cord. I just want to make sure my marimo isn't harmed in the process.

I do recommend 100% cotton as it’s easier on the marimo, but any string will work just fine.
