It’s sad but this couple got a better ending than my Dan/Amy ship on Veep and that’s saying something/giving me perspective. And it really did feel like they were trying to leave it open for…something…down the line.
Oh god, tell me about it. I've been shipping Dan/Amy since the beginning. I stopped watching the final season after the abortion episode and from what I've seen in the dan x amy tag it’s a good thing I did. They treated Amy so disgustingly these past few seasons, to be honest. And they’ve made me properly despise Dan. Just made him downright repulsive. Like, I agree with Reid Scott about what Dan’s ending should be, which is to catch a stray bullet to the head asashgjh. Gendrya's ending is lovely and soft and full of hope in comparison.
