I feel like non German speakers need to know that in German we call bats "Fledermaus", which translates to "flutter mouse"
Cause, you know, it's a lil mouse that flutters through the air
Might as well leave a little sparkly trail with how cute that name is imo
🦇🦇🦇 *flutter flutter bat noises* 🦇🦇🦇
the son acquired a whimsical twinkle in the eye
and nostrils (he can breathe now)
and the pixelated texture I wanted from the start.
I added all these innovations when I should've been studying for my final physics test in the end of my current HS grade. I'm sure I failed today
I really appreciated the feedback and the name suggestions. My favorites so far are Batrick, Drumstick, Foam Earplug, Kepchup, and Yam.
do you think he looks intelligent, or does he appear stupid? Would you want me to post scenes and scenarios with him?
For my vampire fans, there are two big wholesome stories in Bat News.🦇🦇
**# 2 is adorable and has potential for Lost Boys Silliness.
1. New species of bat discovered (Pipistrellus Etula)
2. Spectral Bats (Vampyrum Spectrum, or False Vampire Bats) some of the biggest bats out there, HUG EACHOTHER when they come home from being out of the roost.
Scientists observed a family of four spectral bats in their roost in a tree in Costa Rica, capturing an inside look at their social behavior
Greater naked bat! Reference courtesy of Merlin Tuttle <3 I love these guys hehehe they're so silly
not super jazzed with how the colouring turned out, but oh well :3
Does Anyone Know of any Norse or German Folklore for Bats?
I'm wondering if Anyone knows of any folklore for Bats, be it Norse or German? A lot of Bat symbology came up during some trance work, so I'm trying to see if there's anything that can add some clarity to it. Looking up words, I found fladdermus for Bat in Sweedish, and Fledermaus in German, but I haven't found anything in the way of folklore.
