Description: "To make this artwork, the sketch was made on paper and the final was made digitally on the art app called Sketchbook on my phone. Materials include using a stylist or my finger. Going into this I wanted to turn one of my characters into a fleef and give them moth wings, but it didn’t look right so I reset the colors and it took me like 3 days to come up with the colors I have now :) For the moth wings I chose the Malaysian Moon Moth to base the pattern off of, I sorta simplified the pattern because I wanted to keep it simple in case if I ever want to draw my fleef again,(and trust me I will). The colors for the wings I got from a color pallet. Coming up with my fleef design. I knew I wanted to give her some accessories, which is something I don’t see a lot of people do. Her accessories are optional, but in this drawing she is wearing earrings, a gold tail band, and two Jade Bengals. I decided to name her Moonsilk. I wanted her name to match her design, and this name came to me after I finished with the her reference sheet(see on my Instagram). And just like her colors, it took me a while to come up with a name. Moonsilk is a kind and gentle fleef. She likes to ride the wind currents and rest in the shaded parts of the tallest tree tops. She loves to hang out with her close friends and eat freshly baked goods<3"
