I missed last Self Insert Sunday for a very important, but not bad reason. I may have to miss it again this week on account of Father’s Day. We shall see. But please submit stuff anyway!!

Also in light of pride month, I’m gonna go ahead and come out again and say that I’m asexual. I’m keeping this blog discourse-free so people can relax with fandom, but like, wanted to say it anyway so my a-spec followers know they’re not alone. They are also free to contact me at any time via Tumblr messaging or my personal if they need someone to listen.
Onto blog updates!!
I’ve updated my request list to include all of the requests I’ve received since the last Fleet Update. Included is a sequel to “Not Dead Yet” and two Felix requests (one role reversal, one Stockholm syndrome). If you don’t see yours, Tumblr probably ate it.
I also have many requests for imagines and scenarios. I keep making good headway on writing them, then I just... lose? The document they’re saved in??... I don’t know how this keeps happening, but I’ll keep looking.
I’m experimenting with a new system for writing so I can hopefully start putting up regular content outside of Self Insert Sunday again! I am also considering making a second blog for original short stories (so I have “respectable” writing to show people, lol), and I hope you all will continue to show your support! :)
I need to do a tag overhaul one of these days when I have the energy. Create a tag that’s for people who want to view my blog and only see my content, with no asks or Self Insert Sunday or drunk shitposts or Fleet Updates. I know blacklisting is a thing (that’s why I tag my personal posts with “mushi” in case someone wants to stop seeing them), but not everyone wants to do that, and moreso I don’t want people to blacklist the Self Insert Sunday tag.
I’ve been writing and rewriting one particular request involving North and York, and I think I’m onto something now! I hope to finish with it and have it up relatively soon.
My half of a seeeeeeecret fanfic trade is almost done...! Hopefully.
Got a finished Felix fic. Will be posting once I’ve either got something else up first (so I don’t have primarily Felix content), or I cave and post it anyway.
I have decided to start making updates on the fleet blog about all the stuff I dig out of the STO forum, twitter, reddit and other assorted places, such as info about fixing constantly crashing games, lag updates, how to get the missing ‘Current Map’ doff missions back, ect.
These posts will be named Locustus Logs and tagged with that.
