So STO now have 2.5 “official” forums, its subreddit, plus it’s twitter and fb page. I’m getting a headache.
The 2.5 “official” forums are 1) the old perfectworld forum, which should have been defunct as by forum maintenance Wednesday, but it’s for some reason still up and running and people are posting in it and the 1.5) is the new arc forum with it’s non-arc overlay version.
The problem is that the perfectworld version and the 1.5 arc version aren’t communicating, so what has been posted in one after the 27th isn’t transferred and can’t be seen in the other. So we have two groups of people, those who are still using perfectworld and those who have moved to the new arc place and both sides are missing out on information as neither can see what the other group is posting.
The arc version (with or without the overlay) is the new official forum, but no one seems to know what is going to happen to the threads and posts made in the perfectworld forum after the 27th when it is at some point made defunct entirely.
It’s such a mess.
Add to this that the subreddit has always lived a sort of parallel life to the official STO forum, well I think you can see why I’m getting a headache trying to find info on the game/bugs/events/ect these days.
If you play please spread this around so we can a least get info about the new forum out. The official channels haven’t been their best in this
