The original six Fleshlettes. Recently Jonathan Payne had become consumed with the creation of realistic yet abstract human body hybrids known as 'Fleshlettes'. I feel that the Fleshlettes connect well to my own work for my FMP as they display a grotesque image that I myself am trying to achieve through my own work.

Fleshlettes by Jonathan Payne

I found this via Regrestsy - a sculptor who makes these unsettling, ultra realistic, teratoma-like little creations he called "Fleshlettes". There's other neat sculpts on his blog (like the dapper cyclops), but these, wow, they're repulsive and fascinatingly hypnotic and I love them to death. 

Also a great diet aid, for you folks making new year's resolutions.
