Maybe 2 more pages and this sketch comic is finished! I laugh at how sketchy the first few pages are compared to this one. May Thra be with me when I finally get back into making full comics again.

The sketchy comic continues! As we can see, the only backgrounds I care to draw are forest ones lol

We see the mystery girl at the end of the last post I made (she may get a redesign head shape-wise, she looks too similar to Fleur. But maybe Tore has a face type? Idk) How will Fleur respond in the next post?

There’s more I want to say but I’ll save it for the last bit because it will all make a bit more sense.

Remember when I said the next (this) post would be the finale? Well, the next part will be the last part lol

Right now I have a commission I need to work on and since my job exhausts me during the week I want to put all the energy I have after work in my commission piece. Because of that I wanted to post these pages up so we can all see that moment we were all waiting for (I’m kinda dissatisfied with the slap, partially because I totally didn’t space everything out nicely). I also did these sketch comics as sets of three and didn’t want to break it lol

The flower in the third panel of the first page is suppose to be a Red Dahlia (or a Thra equivalent) because Red Dahlias symbolize betrayal and dishonesty.

It took me FOREVER to come up with the dialogue for these pages and the last three on the way sometime soon. Don’t get me started on writing, that’s partially why this comic is being stretched and extra 3 pages. I can’t help it!

We also get a bit into Fleur’s feelings on dealing with the bullying she and Cha’l endured. We’ll see the last bit of Fleur’s dialogue in a future comic because what she says here is something very important to her and we gotta see the contrast in the other scenario.

Thank you to everyone who is really interested in this story I wanted to tell, and for your patience (I miss working remote. I wasn’t so exhausted after clocking out lol)

The next part of Fleur’s short sketch comic is done! Remember when I said this was suppose to be the end? I lied because I went into a flashback be accident lol but the next one will be the end!

Fleur was bullied quite a bit as a childling so when Tore showed her an act of kindness, he became her Prince Charming. Tore was nice as a childling and grew up to be a jerk who mostly sees romantic partners as conquests. I would have gone more into it but then we’d be getting like 30 pages of this story lol

I couldn’t find a good way of writing this (I literally scrapped everything I would come up with) but, Tore only dated Fleur because he wanted to brag to his friends about dating someone who was half Dousan; he’d do the same to anyone he was dating who was half Grottan because of how uncommon it is to see a Dousan or Grottan outside of their homeland. Fleur was getting the idea that all she was to him was just a body but every time she would bring up her concerns, Tore would reassure her with just the right words to keep her within his grasp. He’s been in relationships and he knows how to woo someone, and/or string them along until he gets what he wants.

Fleur was naive and thought that somehow “Prince Charming” Tore would come back and stayed to be rewarded with that ideal version she had painted of him. She also liked saying “I have a boyfriend” and “I’m going on a date with my boyfriend” and put up with a lot of the red flags. This was also her first time feeling romantic feelings and she didn’t want to let them go, despite the fact that this relationship was not healthy and there was really no true feelings of affection and love. She thought she was lucky and found someone who saw her as Fleur, which is something she luckily finds in her future relationship with a certain eyepatch wearing Pirate.

We’ll see how it ends and what their confrontation is going to be like. Maybe someone will make a cameo/appearance? But! Fleur is doing 1000x better after she and Tore break it off, and I can’t wait to get to all the shipping comics! We need sweetness after this rather sad one.

A super sketchy thumbnail comic sequence of Fleur and her first boyfriend Tore. I will post up a continuation a bit later, I really had to sketch this out after I did the shipping songs in my story last week.

I wanna say that Fleur was a bit softer around this time and wore rose tinted glasses during this relationship.

I wanna explore this idea a bit more in sketches and it’s a chunk of Fleur’s childhood, and kinda why she was putting up with a lot of the red flags she saw in her relationship with Tore. Let’s just say Cha’l had a hard time as a childling, and Fleur had it a bit worse. There are certain things Fleur experienced growing up that Cha’l was not subjected to and vice versa.

The text can be a bit hard to read and I apologize, my sketchy handwriting is not the greatest lol

Me too!!! I had loosely sketched the first page earlier last month, RoyalSand week kinda halted my progress. But soon!

We need to see the conclusion and perhaps a look at a certain brother when he was younger.

And a certain part is just *chef's kiss* beautiful!

I bet there's a way to link all of the pages together (I've seen an artist I follow do it) and I am the most untech-savy person. I might reblog all of the pages together.
