Jami Cakes suggested going to Real Good Food to see what goodies they had in store. Misti Cooper & I were thrilled! We tasted delicious extra virgin olive oil from small producers in Sicily (my fav!) and Tuscany...hand harvested flor de sal from Portugal (YUM!) and bought heirloom beans from West Coast farmers...and olives... plus we had a delightful conversation with owners Judith Rizzio & Jim Dixon. Judith is an multi-talented artist who also helps dress less fortunate women in clothing that makes them feel sexy and confident. Jim is a James Beard nominated "recovering " food writer and accidental olive oil vendor.
