🌼… a story about the past.
“Um... you know...” Memories of her past start to overwhelm her thoughts, that she just wants to tell about it to someone. “I...I used to work as cashier and customer service...before I became an idol.”
The memories of people laughing over her awkwardness, or customers frowning at her tendencies to cover half of her face, or her very low speaking voice, or some people wondering at her uncomfortable reaction when they try to lift her bangs without her permission...
She does not like that place. But she has to work there, for the sake of keeping her family alive. The only people that matter to her...and mean the entire world for her...She has to protect them.
“I did a really bad job there, so I got fired...” She remembers her former boss saying, that a job is called a job because people who do so are forced to do things they do not like. Miu insists to stay at her comfort zone, which is why she is shunned and mocked by her co-workers, frowned by customers, and eventually fired.
“From that time, I know I can’t deal with jobs that involve interacting with other people...but...” She lets out a small chuckle. “Since I’m an idol now, it’s kind of strange, isn’t it?”
She exhales a small sigh. “I didn’t apply to be an idol, either...” She lowers her head, letting her bangs yet again covering half of her face. “I do not have any talents that would qualify me as one. I cannot sing nor dance well, either.”
She tries not to bring up about the existence of The Wall, a selfish being that has chosen her to be an idol. That will be yet another long story to unfold.
“I was chosen. I didn’t know why.”
She raises her face, gazing at nowhere. “And now, I’m no longer with my idol unit, so...to be honest, I don’t really know what I want to do either.”
