nyctern:
☽☾ ⋯ The young lady hands Leian the tissues, and Leian thanks her as gracefully as one could when sniffling with tears in one’s eyes. A sneeze, safely caught by the tissue, and Leian groans. At least the young individual was being honest; sure she might not know a thing about allergies to flowers, but it sounded like she knew what flowers were.
“Th-This is… a little embarrassing to admit… but I haven’t seen flowers quite like these before.” Leian takes a deep breath, a little clearer now that she’d stepped away from the floral decorations. Truth be told, she hadn’t seen flowers alive full stop, but the young lady didn’t need to know that. Still, she eyed them, tissue clenched between her fingers. “An allergy or illness to them would be a terrible surprise.”
Not that taking the frustration out on a stranger would do her any good. “Do… these flowers grow where you’re from?”
Miu cannot help but to feel worried over the other woman’s condition. If she has an allergy and cannot handle the flowers, then she should have stayed at her apartment instead of going outside...right? Spring time like this is the time when flowers are blooming, after all. Then again, Miu does not want to judge too quickly.
Much to Miu’s surprise, it turns out that she has never seen the flowers. “R-Really?” She cannot hold back her surprise, since cherry blossoms are very well-known around the world...right? Or, does the woman come from a country where cherry blossoms never exist?
“Um...yes, these flowers are very common in Japan... They are cherry blossoms...” Miu briefly tells about the flower. “They are also only blooming at spring time like this... And...I think these flowers are very famous too...” That is why Miu is surprised that there is someone who does not know about them.
scarletjudgement:
“Cotes Ward?” At least he knew where he should be heading, even though the name meant little to him. It also didn’t help that he was in the wrong ward to start with. Still, this girl seemed to know the way, which was more than he could say of himself.
“Are you certain? I do not wish to put you out of your way.” Especially since there had to be a map of sorts somewhere in this place that could help him. However, he wouldn’t know where to begin searching for that, and it would, perhaps be foolish to turn down her offer. Yet he couldn’t help but feel guilty, as if he were placing a burden on her.
“N-No...it’s fine...” Though, to be honest, Miu is in a middle of looking for job vacancies. Then again, if she is being asked and demanded to answer honestly, she does not really want to do that. So, perhaps escorting the man to his home is probably the best way to sidetrack from her original intention.
“I don’t mind at all to show you where it is...” Her low voice and her shyness probably are not very convincing, but she really means it that she wants to help him. “So, um... shall we go to Cotes Ward...?”
gungnirclad:
ƒ. ❝ Ooohh… Having a family that depends on you all the time must be even more stressing. You’re tough. ❞ Her family, as dysfunctional as it was never asked too much of her. They made the sacrifice to actually let her go to Lyrian. Despite that, she always felt responsible for how, well, dysfunctional everything was. Bikki was the main reason they had to go through all that horrible stuff after the Zwei Wings incident. Just thinking about it was enough to make her feel a lump on her throat, that whole trauma wasn’t something that could just go away easily.
❝ You think so? Thank you, thank you! I don’t think I’m pretty enough though! Hehe~ ❞ Her right hand gestured up and down, a typical reaction of her to being flattered. Maria and Tsubasa were way cooler than her, way more imposing and unreachable as people. At least from the outside, knowing them since years they both were kind of awkward yet loving big sister figures to her.
❝ You do look like an idol too, Miu-chan! You’re really pretty, I’m totally sure there are a lot of guys who just fall for the shy but cute types! ❞ Weird enough, they didn’t have someone like that in S.O.N.G., they were all just… weirdos. Shirabe-chan could be considered shy but she was more of an introvert devil.
Tough? That is...probably the first time Miu is ever called that way. She never considers herself as a strong person, since she is just barely dealing with everything that is happening. Things had been very overwhelming in her life. Keeping up with her busy idol schedules, the stress for keeping her job problems away from her mom (though she eventually knows that she is the center of 22/7 now), and she had to keep up with school too. Since she is transferred to Spirale city, those problems feel like they happened in distant past, it felt very surreal.
“N-Not really... I’m just... trying to keep up with everything...t-that’s all... I’m sure that’s what everyone does too...” And she is sure Tachibana is also keeping up with her life. So, she does not consider herself doing something special, or being tough person either.
“I-I think...Tachibana-san has a bright personality, and people are happy for being around you...I think someone like Tachibana-san is very idol-like...in my opinion...” Which is pretty much in contrast with talentless and gloomy Miu. Until now, she still does not know why The Wall had chosen her to be an idol, and the center of 22/7 either. Tachibana is like the combination of Nicole and Sakura, though dominantly she is more to Sakura for her outgoing personality. “If there’s an audition for idol...I think...Tachibana-san will be chosen...”
But when Tachibana praises her for looking like an idol, calls her as pretty and cute, Miu feels flustered. Honestly, she is never used with people praising her, since she does not consider herself worthy to be praised. Even though her fans ever called her as ‘cute’, being praised personally like this still makes her feel embarrassed anyway.
“N-No...I-I’m not like that, Tachibana-san...” She looks away, trying to hide her reddish face, but she seems to be failed in doing so.
springlost:
Oh, how much she reminds her of Yun-Hua! Of the gentle yellows in her eyes and bangs over her forehead, and the way she demurs… but this is not Yun-Hua, and Aries tries to curb the look of disappointment that finds her face. She’ll just have to track down her teammate elsewhere… and hope she hasn’t run into trouble.
“Yes! I’m new here! I woke up at this massive hole and somebody drove me here… well, not here, but to this street!” She moves to rise a little in the air. The confusion is apparent and even more intense as Aries considers her words – as is agitation. “I was… on my way home, with my friends, and we were on the ship, but then – then I wasn’t! I can’t find them! We must have crashed on the way and I have to make sure they’re okay!!”
“Have you seen anybody?! Please…!”
Ah, right. She is definitely new, then. Miu had gone through such similar experiences when she arrived at this city for the first time too. She used to be as confused as this girl is, even though she does not show it as much as the other does.
In any case, she looks very panicked. She seems to be separated from her friends--just like Miu who is also separated from her fellow idol companions and her family--and she is very concerned of her friends.
“U-Um...” Miu is trying her best to calm the other girl down. “I...I don’t know who your friends are...but...” And Miu realizes that she used to be struggling over the same situation with no particular solution as well. “I-I’m sure they’re going to be okay...”
Oh, she must be sounding very rude for assuming such. “Um...I-I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to be rude...but, I...I just believe they’re going to be okay... F-For now there’s no way to contact them...b-but, maybe if you live here for a while...y-you can let them know that you’re okay...”
Gosh, everything she says does not sound reassuring at all. Miu really has no idea on how to handle this situation. She just makes everything worse, does she not?
losingmyjustice:
“You could put it that way.” this wasn’t typical of him. This wasn’t how he usually behaved — he was the last one to turn a blind eye, standing up for what he believes in despite the odds. Maybe even losing his mind while it. Alas … A mindset that wasn’t to last. He’s grown tired. Not only of the circumstances, but of trying. “Besides … I’m not about to help the people who hold us captive.”
“Ah.” yeah, he’d be somewhat surprised to see her siding with NULL, anyway. While regarding Fibonacci … well, even if it wouldn’t be dangerous, he’d avoid it. Fire.
“No, it makes sense. I wouldn’t say it’s wise to involve yourself if you don’t know what you’re standing for, but …” a bittersweet smile. “In a way, you’re long certain. If there’s a purpose, an intuition, and preparedness for possible consequences … you should follow it.” A purpose.
“That said … If I’d be in your shoes, I wouldn’t be as neutral. After all, your life is not the only one at risk, should NULL succeed. We’d all get erased thanks to collateral damage. Meanwhile, the stars show no sign of vaporizing anybody.” Ha, do as I say, not as I do — hated people who were that way, but here he’s now.
“… Say, if you’re cutting wires, what are you using? Surely not a scissor, right?” (Un)fortunately, he did have some advice he could share, the least he could do — that is, if Spirals’ electricity was even remotely similar to the ones he knows from his world. Doubtful, considering nobody is dying of the shock while cutting live wires, but …
That is true. Now that he mentions it, Miu might appear like she is a hypocrite for helping people who have robbed her away from her original home, away from her friends. She vaguely remembers someone from NULL called her out for that. Miu is not going to deny it. Her past self would have gladly embraced GPU’s temptation. But, she just cannot trust anyone who uses the method of robbing people away from their “home”. This city, too, is a home for some, prison to others. Both Stars and GPU use the same way for robbing people’s peaceful life away, forcefully, and Miu does not trust any of them, despite the side she takes in.
Her motivation really makes no sense, after she gives much more thoughts about it. She knows that. Then again, what can a teenager like her do?
So, it makes sense why he does not want to help those who hold them captive. Stars and GPU are just the same. This city might be a prison for him, and that is why he does not want to help any of the sides. Perhaps she should have done that too, even though she hates sitting idly and doing nothing.
“Even so... now that I give much thoughts about it... I wonder if Stars consider me as traitor...” It is not like she is going to expose her distrust to both sides to anyone she meets. “I mean...considering that I join a side just to make this end somehow, and I don’t even care who’s going to win or anything...and that’s also a very swift and not a well-thought decision either...”
She lets out a small sigh. “Right... Stars won’t harm anyone--probably, but they aren’t going to release us back to where we originally came from...after this mess is done...” She turns to look at the man. “S-so, what I’m saying is...I understand that you don’t take neither sides...now that I think about it, i-it’s probably the best decision...”
To cut wires? Well, not that she has not done any significant progress anyway, since the wires are mostly protected by well-armed NULL members. The one she met at Fibonacci was tough, and she only thought of going to Urgent Care when she was at Cotes.
“I...I use scissors...” She answers. “I-Is that bad? I mean... the one I encountered last time...I didn’t get to cut it because it was guarded by an extremely powerful person...”
4cutremix:
“Oh please. Selfless people are dime a dozen and NOTHING special. You know what the thing about hero? The world will never run out of idiots that rush them self to dead because of some naive idea of “justice”. I hate the phase “for the greater good” the most. Long as it benefit the majority. The minority can go screw themselfs right? Tell me then. I SHOULD just abandon my own dreams and hope for these people right? Let the people i love suffer back home just so a couple of people who don’t even know my name can be happy. Just shut up as the Island Star who BEGGING for our help now come around and screw with us next month not caring about our well being?”
Zeed is selfish. He is greedy and he is without a doubt a coward. He is everything BUT a pure hero.
He have seen the results of sacrifice. Sacrifice just so the mass can be happy. His friend Darian was stuck for HUNDRED of years unwillingly as a kingdom personal death machine. People always want something they can rely on. But once that thing goes down another thing will always rise up and people soon forget the sacrifice of the old hero to admire their new shinny toy.
Fighting for the people isn’t worth it.
“Looking out for yourself isn’t wrong. It’s a HUMAN response. Your not even 18 yet are you? You fallen in love yet? You finish high school yet? Here you are acting tough yet you still haven’t lived a life of a normal high schooler. So tell me another thing….”
Zeed simply just snap his finger as BLADE start coming out from the ground forming a blade wall from Zeed to her.
BLADE DANCE
“Your REALLY willing to die? Because i don’t think so. You can act like a super heroine and convince yourself your doing the right thing. But your still a kid. You ever been impale before? Burn alive? or been poison so much you feel like your internal organs are soup? I have. I bought my broken body back from the brink of collapse so many times and let me tell you another thing. Your nobody special in the end of the day. Soon as you fall their always be another super heroic idiot rise up to take the job and people will quickly forget about you. So i’m giving you the same warning i just did. Run away.”
Zeed still unwilling to hurt her. But he have up his persuasion to include threats and fear of physical violence. Zeed have fought natural warriors and skill magicians before. And something tell Zeed there no way in hell those the girl have more combat experience then Zeed.
Beside a lot of bravado crumble in face of true power and Zeed do HAVE true powers. He just have enough humanity to not wave it around like some ****.
Does he really think that she is selfless?
No. She is far from that. Even though she is on Stars’ side, she does not care who is going to win. She just wants this to end, and she chooses this side because she cannot trust NULL who robs people’s home away. She cannot trust Stars either, but when her ward is raining fireballs, it is not like she has another choice. She will die either way. What can a powerless girl like her do? She probably can lift heavy things and pack a punch, or she is probably just insanely determined or has lost her mind--there really is nothing distinguishing her determination and her sanity slippage.
All that she wants, is for this chaos to end.
And she wants to do something instead of running away and doing nothing. Even though her contribution is small, at least she does something, to accelerate the end of this.
He talks like he cares about her, trying to change her way of life and considers like she cares about her own life, even though she does not care. With her family and her friends living somewhere--somewhere safer and better than this chaotic city, she does not have any purpose to keep on living anymore. She just wants this to end.
All of his words, his selfish words, fall into deaf ears. Him summoning a wall of blades between them might flinch her a bit, but she does not show any sign to change her mind, nor running away.
She dashes towards the wall of swords, completely going against what he tells her to, as she takes out a scissor from her pocket, trying to squeeze herself through the wall of sword. Her clothes are damaged, leaving bruises all over her body, but she does not care. She keeps her scream of pain in her throat as the swords cut all over her body.
She does not care. It does not matter if she is going to die here.
She only wants this to end. That is all she wants.
losingmyjustice:
Honestly, anyone who knows him as a calm, composed individual is lucky. His emotions are pretty sporadic lately, and it’s better finding him abstracted than lashing out for no apparent reason, really.
“To be fair, I’m surprised the safe spots are left untouched. With how many twisted citizens now have their powers back, and people are basically hoarded in one neat corner … ” an ill thought, but it was genuinely just his paranoia speaking — after all, most looking for aid wouldn’t be able to defend themselves, should someone who’s seeking to cause destruction to show up and ruin their day. There were definitely quite a lot of people here who welcome erasure, that’s for sure. “Colour me glad, but I feel like it’s too early to say such as the week’s not over.” Not like he can do anything to prevent it, should something happen, sadly.
“ … No worries,” it’s just an observation, no need to apologize. Though it did put Clive to an awkward spot where he wasn’t all too sure if he should answer truthfully or not, hence it took a moment before he replied.
“Don’t get me wrong, these circumstances are extremely tiring, and I can only hope the Disasters will end as fast as possible. Just that—” hm. “— Not as if I can make it stop, myself. With no choice but to wait it out, better not to panic, right?” It wasn’t a lie, technically. Though he did pick a reply not by what is the most honest, but least concerning.
“I could ask the same question to you, actually. You’re not staying put by the safe space despite what’s happening, either. Are you involved in either party?”
“I...I went there...before going to this ward...” To look for the wires to cut, but the blizzard seems to be preventing any significant activities in this ward. Then again, she cannot say for sure--she is just arrived, after all. “The Urgent Care was safe when I went there, although it’s full of busy people who were trying to take care of the injured ones... also... the temperature there was, different than here...”
It is definitely an understatement, especially comparing between this ward and the ward where she originally came from. Almost as if two separate wards are in very different world, two in scorching heat and raining fireballs and here in blizzard.
“So... um, you’d rather not do anything...to stop this?”
Miu does not get it. She too is tired of whatever is happening in this city. That is why she shut herself in her apartment before finally stepping out. And that decision comes to the thought, that this situation will not stop by itself. No matter how small her contribution is, no matter how powerless she actually is, she wants to do something--to make this stop.
And in order to make this stop, she has to take a side, even though she does not want to. Both sides are flawed, and if possible she does not want to encounter any conflicts. Even so, this has to be done.
He has the point, though. Miu thought he probably possessed any powers to protect himself, but his statements heavily implied otherwise. “I understand, though... This disasters, and this war...all of these are really tiring... I want this to end as well.”
She takes out her phone, and turns it on, as she shows it to him--the location of the wires, reveals herself that she is a part of Stars. “I could have stayed home, but Fibonacci is raining meteors now, so my house is probably in shambles now... Besides...” She tightens her grip on her phone. “I want this to quickly end too. The truth is, even though I’m on Stars’ side, I don’t care who’s going to win, I don’t care if I’m going to lose my life. But...I don’t want to just sit in silence and do nothing to help this situation...I want this to end...and for that purpose, I want to do something...”
She puts her phone back into her pocket, and lowers her head. “It doesn’t make any sense...right?” Miu knows that this is a decision she takes when she is not in the right state of mind, either.
4cutremix:
“I told you before right? Only a force that can rival the Isola star our only chance to escape. Your chance have come….yet why are you siding with the very people who keeping you here?”
Zeed have the same idea. That with the rain of fire there a chance some fire of the sky might accidentally burn up some of the wire. Of course there also a chance that nobody will come outside…..
But he had to be sure.
His phone indicate the girl in front of him isn’t one of NULL. The two of them meet once. He tried cheering her up back then as he never gotten her name.
No matter. He not gonna budge either. He have unfinished business waiting for him back home. People to save and goddess to defeat. He have a reason he can’t lose.
“Is it justice? You know the people in this city don’t care about you right? In the end of the day they’re not gonna be there for you when you need them. When you cry they’re not gonna lend you a tissue. Don’t you have friends? Family you wanna go home and see? Cutting the wires isn’t going to gain you any benefit. The so call Isola Star isn’t gonna bring you back home for good behavior. So……go back home and hide under the bed. Let someone else be the hero.”
Arcane green energy SHINE from Zeed. He not REALLY gonna hit her. But it’s a show of force. To scare her letting her know he got magical powers now.
“Because i can’t let you cut this stupid wire. I got unfinished business back home and much as i don’t trust NULL…..they’re the best shot i have.”
Please just run away. Zeed gonna continue to try using words to persuade her to give up. Even though he CAN stop her right now don’t mean he WANT to hurt her.
Your chance have come….yet why are you siding with the very people who keeping you here?
Miu knows that. There would have been better chance for her to be able to go home had she chosen to side with NULL. There would have been a chance, a hope, that she could go home, reunite with her dear mother and her sister, and her friends at 22/7, had she chosen to side with NULL. Miu might make bad decisions from time to time, but she is also aware of the sweet temptation that NULL offers.
However, she also knows more than anyone not to trust anyone, or anything, that toys on someone’s life. Or a group of people’s life. She still holds grudge against The Wall which only could stupid orders to be an idol, choosing her as the center, and all that.
Miu might not hold any special attachment to this island or this city, or the people in it yet, but she knows that this place function as home to many people too. There are people who have found home in this place, as much as she has found home in 22/7. There are probably people who have formed deep bond to other citizens here.
It is never fair to take away someone’s “home”. And she never trusts anyone that uses such method, no matter who they are.
“...I don’t trust selfish people...” She speaks out, as fireballs continue to rain all around the area. “People who selfishly take away other people’s home, rearranging their life to fit their own selfish desires...”
She tightens her grip on her phone. “Stars are also selfish...for taking me away from people I love... but, so do GPU, and NULL... for taking the citizens’ peaceful life away... Everyone has been enjoying their springtime, some people consider this place as a new home for them...and then...this happens...”
She exhales a sigh, and continues to speak. “I want this mess to end too... And I don’t want to just sit and do nothing... so, please move out of my way and let me cut the wires...”
She looks to the man with determined expression. She knows he has a power, perhaps a strong one that is enough to kill her. But she does not falter. “I might not be able to fight very well, but if I die here, it doesn’t matter.”
A vague memories of her childhood starts flashing before her eyes. Something that makes her unable to just stand still and do nothing.
“I will keep trying to cut the wires, even if it means I will die here.”
losingmyjustice:
Clive always hated this ward in particular, even if his apartment is located here — and today was an absolutely brilliant day to hate it even more. (Then again, there’s also Fibonacci and its fireballs. Suppose it could be much worse.) While it’s true he does have the habit of cherry-picking things to complain about, therefore finding a reason to hate almost every weather; please, it’s more than justified this time around. His wardrobe is not adequate for this at all, too — he did additionally wear a trench coat, a scarf, but that’s as far as it goes. You could argue that he could buy warmer clothes, but thanks to the flooding recently, most shops have closed for its duration, if they haven’t been severely damaged that is.
Unfortunately, thanks to wire-cutting, the area near his apartment have lost power; therefore, it is freezing just as much as it is outside. So, out he is, wandering while keeping his eyes open — as much as he can, anyway. He doesn’t even want to know what will be the next disaster, really.
“Hm?” he hummed, turning his attention only to see someone he vaguely recognizes. She wasn’t the only one who’s unsure regarding names, honestly. Though he didn’t feel awkward about it — a forgotten name is better than one forcefully engraved.
“Urgent Care?” echoed — he did know about the safe space during the previous disaster, but this one? Doubtful he even wants to go, considering that this meant thousands are located there.
“Not … like it’s much safer in the other wards.”
He...does not seem to be thrilled with that idea. Or rather, he looks pretty unfazed with what is currently happening here. Well, maybe he is just better at concealing it--who knows, Miu is not the one to judge. Either way, his calmness somewhat unsettles her. Truthfully, their last meeting during spring, he also does not seem pretty bothered with what is happening around him. Perhaps that is just a part of his personality.
Miu remembers about him clearly, though. Even though their first meeting was not particularly pleasant, and their second meeting did nothing to develop their interaction. Miu is thinking on how she can fix it somehow, but now is not the time for that, is it?
She cannot disagree with what he said. Considering the scorching heat that is currently happening at Cotes Ward...even at Fibonacci, where fireballs falling like rain. Well, in any case, at least Urgent Care is guarded with people who know what they are doing, right?
“That’s true...” She responds. “But, I think...it’s better than being assaulted by people who are currently in war against each other...”
It is weird for her to say that, since technically she partakes in this mess as well. Then again, if she does not do something, this is not going to end anytime soon.
“You...don’t seem to be worried at all...” Oh, she lets that slip. “Um... sorry, I don’t mean to assume what you’re feeling or anything... it’s just--you seem pretty calm despite everything’s happening here...”
She can be considered lucky for bringing along her scarf and her thick jacket to protect herself from the extreme blizzard that happens beyond Cotes Ward. The extreme climate change is really weird, and everything happens at a very short pace too. She could remember how she barely survived through the heat at Cotes, and as soon as she stepped at Golden Ward, she could feel her entire body frozen. The extreme temperature change really surprised her.
At least now she is properly equipped, and ready to look for wires...or any people that needs help. Now that she can find where the Urgent Care is, she can lead innocent bystanders to go there, away from the dangers and chaos, even though they are not exempt from the extreme temperature change.
“Um... Excuse m--”
Her words are caught in her throat, as she calls out to the person that seems to be a lost innocent bystander and attempts to lead him to the Cotes Ward where the safe place is--
--only to find out it is him again.
The person she lashed out to during the mysterious chocolate distribution, the person that she met again in cafe during springtime--
--that man.
Miu does not remember his name. Heck, she does not even remember if they even share names or anything--and at this point she thinks that she probably should introduce herself--but now, she has to bring him to safety.
“I...I’m sorry... but you should go to the Urgent Care... It’s not safe here...”
@losingmyjustice has requested an event starter!
She does not know how long has it been since she has been running, away from her dangerous ward. She pats her slightly burnt skirt, and her damaged shoes, but that does not stop her from running to the Cotes Ward, because that is where the presumably safe place is...right?
But, as soon as she arrives at Cotes Ward, she feels like she is about to faint. The overwhelming drought at this ward is beyond her capability. She loses her ability to run, and she can barely drag her legs to keep going.
However, she cannot stop now. She has to go where the Urgent Care is. Perhaps, at there, she can find a shelter to take a rest from this insanity, even though at this point the possibility feels pretty bleak.
After god knows how long time has passed, she finally reaches the place of...what it seems to be Urgent Care. She immediately collapses to the ground, unable to go on anymore.
“I...I’m sorry...” Miu tries her best to talk, but she does not have the energy anymore.
@gentlelxllaby has requested a plotted event starter!
oh god i feel bad for her but kudos for not caving in
She’s gonna get the consequences for her own determination soon let’s be real
Even in her own ward, she does not feel safe.
Especially when there is a rain of fire coming out of nowhere, overwhelming her and limiting her movements. Despite that, she needs to keep on moving. A thought of the wires being destroyed by this rain of fire, but probably it is not sufficient to turn things back to normal.
Fibonacci Ward has never felt this chaotic.
She runs and runs and runs, barely dodging the fireballs from the sky and trying her best to protect herself under whatever is left in this ward, whatever that is not immediately damaged or vanquished by the fireballs. She takes out her phone to check the location of a nearby wire. She is very close to it.
And as soon as she arrives at the location, obviously someone is going to protect it. It is not like anyone is going to let their guard slip just because there is a rain of fireballs.
“Please move...” She says, clenching her fists. She cannot run away. This is her duty. “I need to cut the wires.”
@4cutremix has requested a plotted event starter!
@muzuikashii
She asks a lot of questions on the ride home; the man answers none as though her existence ended for him the moment she climbed into the vehicle. Her mother had warned her against this, multiple times; it’s the common law of stranger danger. She had not, however, accounted for either herself or her daughter finding themselves in a section that seems to be entirely cut off from home, and Aries has chosen to disregard the warning with some guilt in her heart.
The car comes to a stop, launching its door open. She waits one moment more, clinging onto some leftover hope that he’ll say anything else. Finding nothing, she sullenly climbs out –
“Whoa - !”
Her home does have some sections made specifically to be anti-gravity; not all planetary travel involves the same rules of physics, and it helps to be ready. For a whole residential area to be designated without warning or at least a few signs is unheard of!
Ever so careful she walks, hovering just slightly above ground, watching the buildings and completely bypassing her own. Aries comes to a pause at the click of a door – someone’s leaving. Despite her earlier caution, she forces herself against the winds almost desperately to reach her.
“Um, excuse me – ! Where am I? Is this Earth?”
Miu has found herself to be used with this city after spending a while staying. Even though she honestly still does not find herself pretty attached with this city and the people here, but at least it is a comfortable place to live. Although, the live expenses forces her to come out and look for jobs, even though she does not want to, really.
She opens her apartment door, only to find that someone is outside--a girl with pink hair. She is not someone that Miu is familiar with, which is why as the other suddenly asks her a question with a confused expression, Miu cannot help but to take a step backward, startled by her presence.
She falls into her thoughts for a moment, even though the answer is pretty simple. After a moment of silence that feels like forever for Miu, she replies. “Um...I guess so...”
Truthfully, she is not certain if she is in the same planet as where she originally came from. But, there is an air and gravity here, so maybe it is the same: Earth. “This is city of Spirale... Um... are you, by chance, just arrived here...?”
The girl in front of her didn’t look like much of a fighter.
Lycelle let her face fall, just for a moment. When she sold her soul to the devil, she was expecting opposition to take form in people like her - warriors, hardened fighters, those used to the battlefield. The last person she would expect was someone half her age, clearly unused to such rancor.
“ … ” Worldlessly did she unsheathe her broardsword. With the dark battle armor and the menacing presence of her weapon did the elezen hope that she would be able to intimidate the majority of her pursuers before a fight were to break out. Silently she hoped this girl would run away in fear.
She didn’t want to hurt somebody like her.

Even after she took a break from reality for days, Miu is still completely overwhelmed over everything. The city that she thought was weird enough takes a turn to be even weirder, and chaotic. She does not know what she needs to do, and she does not even know if the side that she has chosen is really worth her effort, but not that it will make much effect.
After all, she is nothing but a mere ordinary girl, trying to survive in a chaotic city.
She knows if she engages in a fight, she will lose. She knows she will probably die painfully. The person in front of her has weapon, and she only has nothing but brute force. That is not enough, for sure. She is just a sixteen years old girl trying to survive.
Even so, she hates sitting idly and doing nothing. She has to do something.
“I’m sorry...” Miu apologizes. Even though the other woman possesses a weapon, Miu cannot turn back now. She has to do what she needs to do, and not that she cares what will happen to herself, anyway. “Would you mind to move out of my way? I need to cut the wires...”
