Y’all, I’m so psyched to announce the third season of our Flights of Fandom game, Escape from Arkham. We’re all playing some of Gotham’s best henchfolks to the most infamous supervillains in Gotham. There will be heists, bad schemes, puns, and plenty of angst.

Thinking about my new Flights of Fandom baby, and I see the parallels between Darrow, the protagonist of Red Rising, and Fiách.

Fiách is a big girl. She learned early she could hurt people by accident, which is why she became a basket maker. She had a lot of pressure from her mother and brother to become a warrior, but she hates hurting anything.
Now, after her wife was made Tranquil, which is as good as dead for an Avvar, she has followed the omens and become a creature of brutality and vengeance, and she hates it.

Sooooo we were doing our session 0 for the October Flight for Flights of Fandom (it's gonna be rad, check it out at manapotstudios.com 8pm Eastern on Tuesdays)
We're doing a What We Do In The Shadows inspired flight called Hoboken by Night lmao.
This is the first time I've played a game using the Vampire the Masquerade system, and I legit cackled when I found out that with "7 humanity" you have to fake having sex because of what is implied to be erectile dysfunction.
Asdfgghjkl. Clearly this system was written by straight people. And I'm just like, oh, my sweet summer child.
Someday, when my job allows me to have free time again, I will actually post the DC34 Union worker shorts I've been hammering out during the 5 and 7 minute bits of downtime when the system is refreshing or down.
