Flinthook piece is now don
“Flint Hook” (2017) Sprite
[+Tribute Games logo]
PICO-8 palette.
Just a few of the amazing games I’ve played this weekend at PAX West.
Xbox One indie games video. These are the indie games that I hope are on the horizon. Indie games are always interesting to play cause they do what big name developers won’t do. They have something to prove or a vision that truly want imagined and won’t comprise themselves in any way.
Flinthook [CONFIRMED!] Coming to Game Boy*
*completely fake, I mean seriously…
Tribute Games is without a doubt one of my favorite game companies. So many beautifully crafted pixel-platformers have surfaced due to these great people, and the upcoming Flinthook is no exception. But, what could top this amazing metroidvania-esque platformer?
Why, on the go, of course! Oh man, this one took alot of work and ALOT of last minute tweaking to get it where I was hoping. This title screen I went into with no certain restrictions, so, as always, I tried to stick to 3 colors per sprite and 4 per tile and only the Game Boy’s palette, but I can’t confirm it would be playable. The hooking mechanic itself would definitely be downgraded, but it sure as hell makes a nice screen!
