Another Throwback Thursday, another fish. But hey I'm working my way through posting some of my oldest contenders again, so here we go! The Flipper-Flopper, a boss-level enemy who wears a mask resembling a dolphin, as it idolizes the creatures who were said to flourish in an ancient time. Watch out for its ink ring attack!

It’s possible to kill the Flipper-Flopper while it’s submerged! If you’re soloing one and you have a weapon that doesn’t paint super well or you didn’t quite neutralize it on a previous cycle, shoot at its head when it pokes out of the ink. This could deal the killing blow!

Boss death explosions can paint the Flipper-Flopper’s zone instantly, so it’s an important thing to keep in mind when prioritizing in a small area! Removing a maws, for example, from the equation could also lead to a quick splat on a second boss, so keep your head as you move around!
